In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
one God. Amen.
Kyrie Eleison, Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy, Lord
bless us. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy
Spirit, now and ever and to the ages of ages. Amen.

PRIME 15
The ungodly are not so, but are like the chaff which the
wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not
stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation
of the righteous. For the Lord knows the way of the
righteous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
Alleluia.
PRIME 16
"I will declare the decree: the Lord has said to Me, 'You
are My Son, today I have begotten You. Ask of Me, and
I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the
ends of the earth for Your possession. You shall break
them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the
One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my
voice, and He heard me from His holy hill.
I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.
I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have
set themselves against me all around. Arise, O Lord;
save me, O my God! For You have struck all my
enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth
of the ungodly. Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your
blessing is upon Your people. Alleluia.
PRIME 18
There are many who say, "Who will show us any good?"
Lord, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You
have put gladness in my heart, more than in the season
that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down
in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me
dwell in safety. Alleluia.
PRIME 19
But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let
them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let
those also who love Your name be joyful in You. For
You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You
will surround him as with a shield. Alleluia.
Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the Lord
has heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord has heard
PRIME 21
Help, Lord, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful
disappear from among the sons of men. They speak idly
everyone with his neighbour; with flattering lips and a
double heart they speak. May the Lord cut off all
flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things,
who have said, “With our tongue we will prevail; our
lips are our own; who is Lord over us?”
The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in
a furnace of earth, purified seven times. You shall keep
them, O Lord, You shall preserve them from this
generation forever. The wicked prowl on every side,
when vileness is exalted among the sons of men.
Alleluia.
PRIME 23
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning
with God. All things were made through Him, and
without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him
was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light
shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not
comprehend it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the
Light, that all through him might believe. He was not
that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
That was the true Light which gives light to every man
who comes into the world. He was in the world, and
the world was made through Him, and the world did not
know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not
receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He
gave the right to become children of God, even to those
who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood,
PRIME 35
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of
God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and
we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of
the Father, full of grace and truth. John bore witness of
Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said,
'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He
was before me.'" And of His fullness we have all
received, and grace for grace. For the law was given
through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus
Christ.

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the
name of the God of Jacob defend you; may He send you
help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of
Zion; may He remember all your offerings, and accept
your burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to
your heart's desire, and fulfill all your purpose.
We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our
God we will set up our banners! May the Lord fulfill all
your petitions. Now I know that the Lord saves His
anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with
the saving strength of His right hand. Some trust in
chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the
name of the Lord our God. They have bowed down and
fallen; but we have risen and stand upright. Save, Lord!
May the King answer us when we call. Alleluia.
The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, the world and
those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon
the seas, and established it upon the waters.
Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may
stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a
pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor
sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the
Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
who seek Your face.
Give unto the Lord, O you mighty ones, give unto the
Lord glory and strength. Give unto the Lord the glory
due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of
holiness.
I will extol You, O Lord, for You have lifted me up, and
have not let my foes rejoice over me. O Lord my God, I
cried out to You, and You have healed me. O Lord, You
have brought my soul up from the grave; You have kept
me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Sing
praise to the Lord, you saints of His, and give thanks at
the remembrance of His holy name. For His anger is but
for a moment, His favour is for life; weeping may
endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
earth; You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; You
will sustain him on his sickbed. I said, "Lord, be merciful
to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You." My
enemies speak evil of me: "When will he die, and his
name perish?" And if he comes to see me, he speaks
vain words; his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he
goes out, he tells it. All who hate me whisper together
against me; against me they devise my hurt. "An evil
disease," they say, "clings to him. And now that he lies
down, he will rise up no more." Even my own familiar
friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted
up his heel against me. But You, O Lord, be merciful to
me, and raise me up, that I may repay them. By this I
know that You are well pleased with me, because my
enemy does not triumph over me. As for me, You
uphold me in my integrity, and set me before Your face
forever. Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from
everlasting to everlasting! Amen and Amen. Alleluia.
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with
the voice of triumph! For the Lord Most High is
awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. He will
subdue the peoples under us, and the nations under our
feet. He will choose our inheritance for us, the
excellence of Jacob whom He loves. God has gone up
with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our
King, sing praises! For God is the King of all the earth;
sing praises with understanding. God reigns over the
nations; God sits on His holy throne. The princes of the
people have gathered together, the people of the God
of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God;
He is greatly exalted. Alleluia
