Battle of the Bison Script Outline:

Lauren: Introduce Battle of the Bison

Hello and welcome to the first ever Battle of the Bison brought to you by the Event Planning

Class here at Nichols. My name is Lauren Duquette and I am one of your hosts tonight as well as

my teammates Nadiyah Davis, Christine Collins and Rachel Moran. Tonight, you will be seeing

talent from your fellow Bison. There will be dancing, singing, comedy and even some cooking

The winner will be decided by our three amazing guest judges and will receive a 25 dollar gift

card to dippin donuts and a 25 dollar gift card to price chopper. Our runner up will receive a gift

certificate to Jimmy’s Pizza and a 25 dollar gift card to Big Lots.

Christine: Introduce 15-40 Connection and what it is

15-40 Connection is a non-profit organization that teaches people how to detect cancer

early on. This can be achieved by using the 3-step detection method. Step 1 is “remember what

great feels like.” Step 2 is “use the 2-week rule.” Step 3 is “share with your doctor.” Nadiyah

will help explain in more depth for us.

Nadiyah:

The 3 step detect is a way for people to detect the early signs of cancer. The first step is

remembering what feeling great feels like. You know your body the best so if you start to see or

feel a change make sure you recognize that. The second step is using a 2 week rule. If any

changes in your health last longer than 2 weeks say something to your doctor. And lastly step 3

is making sure you share everything with your doctors. We know that can be hard but it’s

important to be honest with everything that’s going on.

Rachel: Introduce judges

Lauren:

We want to thank everyone again for tuning in and now, let’s get on to the Talent!

This next act is definitely one for the books. One of the most popular apps right now is Tik Tok.

It’s an app that I use frequently. My friends, Jay Parece Brian Mclaughlin and Cooper Hewitt,

thought it would be a great idea to recreate some of my tik toks, so here they are, enjoy!

Christine: Introduce Kate and who she is

The next video is from Kate McCarthy, the Educational Trainer & Event Assistant for
