Time : 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Clinical Instructor :

General Objectives :
Acquisition and application of knowledge, skills and attitudes through the
utilization of nursing process in the care of mother and child at risk or with problems
(acute and chronic) with emphasis of health promotion, prevention and maintenance of
health.

Learning Objectives :
At the end of 24 hours Related Learning Experience , I will be able to :
1. Establish rapport with the Clinical Instructor , fellow dutymates , health
personnel and staff of Pediatrics Ward professionally ;
2. Orient myself with the physical set-up ,policies , protocols and procedures
of the hospital accordingly ;
3. Participate in the pre and post-conference actively ;
4. Utilize the techniques of therapeutic communication explicitly in nurse –
patient interaction ;
5. Ensure that all equipments to be used before and after providing health
care to patient are cleaned properly ;
6. Correctly identify and verify patient for care before conducting the
assessment ;
7. Assess the health condition and environment of the patient properly ;
8. Modify patient’s environment to let the patient rest comfortably ;
9. Provide nursing care to patient effectively ;
10.Assist health staff in providing nursing care to patient properly ;
11.Demonstrate skills , confidence and competence in assisting or managing
nursing csre to patients confidently ;
12.Record all data , observations , vital signs taken and health care provided to
patient accurately ;
13.Do focus charting ( FDAR ) accurately ;
14.Evaluate my performance at the end of Relate Learning Experience duty
honestly ;
15.Submit all my requirements to clinical instructor punctually.

objectives base on our Concepts/ Focus (Client with health problems
common in Toddler, Preschooler, School aged children and Adolescent)
