1.0 PURPOSE

The purpose of this method statement is to define the procedure step by step to implement
the correct and proper practices for CCP 4010X power migration plan & its accessories to
ensure the job execution complies with specification and serves the intended function to
satisfactory level.

2.0 SCOPE

This method statement covers all related process for the following:

i. Migration plan from existing CCP 4010 –JB- CCP 4010X.


ii. Temporary GENSET supply to CCP 4010X
iii. Migration Plan from Incomer Generator
iv. Migration Plan from Incomer SWG 4100

6.0 PERMIT TO WORK (PTW) & CERTIFICATES


6.1 Obtain proper (Cold Work) permit and all electrical isolation certificates.
Proceed only when permit is obtained and approved.
6.2 Work Leader to conduct safety briefing to all worker and personnel prior to
proceeding work.
6.3 Ensure the equipment and tools in good condition, proceed when proper
clearance is obtained
6.4 Assess the work location. Identify whether the condition of work area is safe for
work.
7.0 METHOD STATEMENT
7.1 Quality Control
7.1.1 Ensure strictly follow technical details as specified in drawing.
7.1.2 Request job steps shall approved by client prior load transfer work
start.
7.1.3 Proper safety PPEs and safety measures.
7.1.4 All SSP, JHA, JMS, PEQP shall approved by Client prior works execution
7.1.5 After the above requirements is done and found satisfactory,
Migration works should start.
8.0 MIGRATION PLAN
8.1 General Plan
8.1.1 Migration plan shall follow as per sketched drawing.

8.2 Migration/Load Transfer sequence (refer figure 1)
i. CCP 4010X will be install at new substation building. (Refer DWG E-0002-01).
ii. Load Transfer Junction Box will be install at the back of existing building.

iii. STEP 1: Backup power supply from backup generator will be install to new CCP4010X
iv. STEP 2: All new cables will be install from new CCP 4010X and will be
terminate to new Load Transfer Junction Box.

v. STEP 3: All existing cables from Existing CCP 4010 will be relocate to new
Load Transfer Junction Box. Refer table 8.1.
vi. STEP 4: Disconnect cables from existing equipment both in Existing Generator
Room and Switchgear Room. Lay new cable directly and to new CCP 4010X.
Refer table 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4.
vii. STEP 5: Incoming power cables from existing CCP 4010 to generator will be
remove.
viii. STEP 6: New Cables from incomer SWG 4100 will be install to new CCP
4010X.
ix. STEP 7: Existing cables from incomer SWG 4100 to existing CCP 4010 will be
disconnect.
x. STEP 8: Temporary cables from existing CCP 4010 to CCP 4010X will be disconnect.

6) MiP 1-2-3 Methanol Injection Plug  Switch off the power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD205)
7) Diesel Transfer Pump P-4705  Switch off the power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD35)
8) Diesel Transfer Pump P-4750  Switch off the power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD37)

9) Compressor K5410A  Switch off the power supply for the


cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD46)
10) Compressor K510B  Switch off the power supply for the

 Disconnect the cable from the

17) SWG 4300 (Battery Charger –Diesel Fire  Switch off the power supply for the
Engine) cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD14)
18) CCP 4400 (Gas Heater Control Panel)  Switch off the power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from the
cubicle at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to JB(PD13)
19) N2 GEN SKID (AQ 5900)  Switch off power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from cubicle
at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
20) AIR DRYER LCP  Switch off power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from cubicle
at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
21) B.A COMPRESSOR AT GEN ROOM  Switch off power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from cubicle
at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
22) IETS BOARD  Switch off power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from cubicle
at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
23) NEW LAB BUILDING  Switch off power supply for the
cubicle
 Disconnect the cable from cubicle
at CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
 Make sure SWG 4100 connected to
SYNC Panel in Generator room

CCP 4010
 Terminate the cable to CCP 4010X
 Make sure CCP 4090 connected to
SYNC Panel in Generator room

 Make sure CCP 4090 connected to

9.0 HOUSEKEEPING AND PERMIT CLOSEOUT


9.1 Perform housekeeping. Ensure no potential hazard exists at work area.
9.2 If the work is executed in continuous period of time, housekeeping must
be performed daily before leaving work area.
9.3 Close out work permit. Alert with all safety concern highlight by
respective supervisor or person in charge.

10.0 DELIVERABLES

10.1 Upon completion of the works, the Supervisor shall submit the daily report
and Task report. The report shall be bear the name, and qualifications of
the personnel as well as the name of the company.
10.2 All the above mentioned items shall become the reference.

11.0 SAFETY ASPECT


11.1 The contractor shall execute the works in manner such as that injury or
damage to any person, structure, service, property shall be avoided.
Measures shall be taken to ensure that an adequate level of safety and
precaution for each specific job are efficiently implemented and
maintained.
11.2 The contractor shall provide proper and adequate signage when executing
the work to avoid accident to the all personnel.
11.3 The workers shall equip with all the appropriate personal protective
equipment (PPE) related to safety and health risks they are exposed to.
