Voip Circuit Issues

Additional equipment is required to implement VoIP circuits for various stations as the existing fiber infrastructure only extends to the CNB exchange. Specifically, 6 additional STM-4 sets are needed and new fiber laying will be required between stations like CNB, Juhi Exchange, Goy/Microwave, and others. Various other issues also need to be addressed like completing power cable installations, earthing and surge protection for equipment, laying control circuit cables between the new fiber hut and ASM room.

VoIP circuit issues

1.There are 35 sets available & only one set provided for CNB whereas 04 tappings will be required for
CNB.01 for GMC AREA CONTROL & 01 for JUHI P/CABIN therefore total 06 sets will be required for
shifting.

2.Installation of STM-4 is done only upto CNB whereas for VoIP ckt. New fibre cable laying & STM-4
installation will be required upto JUHI EXCHANGE & GOY/MICROWAVE.

Following items will be required for different stations ASM office to OFC/HUT.

a)KKS LAN cable

b)MWH LAN cable

c)BH LL LAN cable

d)KSQ LAN cable

e)BKO LAN Extender

f)AUNG LAN cable

g)KBN LAN cable

h)PMPR LAN cable

i)SSL LAN Extender

j)RXM LAN cable

k)CHK LAN cable

l)CNBI LAN Extender


ISSUES for new OFC

1. OFC laying & STM-4 installation done upto CNB exchange whereas NMS/PRYJ maintains from
PRYJ to RRH so that for switching from FIBCOM to TEJAS installation of STM-4 will be required
upto
(a)JUHI Exchange (b)GOY/MW(c)CPA(d)PNK(e)BPU(f)MTO(g)RRH total 07 sets of STM-4 will be
required.

2. And new OFC laying will be required from CNBI-MEMO SHED-LOCO CABIN-CPA-JUHI EXCHANGE

upto GOY/MW .

3.New 48v charger supply from FTP to CNB is still pending as well as for KGA & SNIE is also pending.

4. Laying of power cable & PIJF cable from ASM/OFFICE to new OFC/HUT is still pending.

5 .Fixation of OLTE rack is not done as rack is not anchored to the floor.And ladder cable tray is

not provided for proper dressing of fibre.

6.No maintenance free earthing provided for OLTE rack as well no Class A surge protection

provided for new installation.

7.There is no 40 pair cable laying & termination(New ofc hut to ASM room) on krone module for

control ckts as well other ckts.

8.As MTRC CER is in old microwave so new fibre required from new OFC/HUT to microwave to

extend E-1 for MTRC.
