    Kindergarten News

    Upcoming Events Excellent week in school!


    In  Religion  we  learned  about  Jesus  feeding  the  5,000  and  healing  the  
    Feb.  21st   President’s  Day  –  No  School  
    paralyzed  man!    What  a  joy  it  is  to  hear  about  these  special  miracles  Jesus  did  
    while  He  was  on  earth!    Next  week  we  will  hear  about  Jesus  healing  10  men  
    Mar.  7-­‐11     National  Lutheran  Schools  
    and  Jairus’  daughter!    We  will  also  review  all  of  the  miracles  we  have  learned

    In  Math  we  reviewed  measuring,  practiced  adding  and  created  patterns  on  
    elephants!    We  also  practiced  telling  time  –  we  are  getting  very  good  at  this!    
    Mar.  14-­‐18   Spring  Break  –  No  School  
    We  will  be  practicing  money  next  week!      
    Mar.  22   Wind  day  and  Dad’s  Day!     In  Language  we  studied  the  vowel  E  and  listened  to  the  long  and  short  
    Dads  are  invited  to  come   sounds  it  makes!    We  thought  of  many  exciting  E  words  and  have  been  
    and  spend  the  morning   reading  our  rhyming  word  wall!    This  week  we  practiced  words  in  the  at,  ad,  
     
    with  us!    More  details  to   am  and  ag  families!    Next  week  we  will  study  the  letter  J  and  work  on  ug  and  
    come  at  a  later  date.   op  word  families!  

    W e are in need of clean, plastic fruit cups for a


    project on W ednesday. Any cups that you could
    save and bring to school on Tuesday would be
    greatly appreciated!

    Book  orders  due  today  –  please  let  me  know  if  you  were  unable  to  order  and  
    would  like  to!  
    Watch  for  the  March  calendar  on  the  blog  –  I  will  do  my  best  to  have  it  up  by  the  end  of  next  week!
