Today, we are going to start our lesson with a game

it’s called “Pair me Up”
I would need 5 male volunteers and 5 female The pupil will come forward.
volunteers to come in front to hold these metacards I
have prepared.

The mechanic of the game is very simple.

All you have to do is to find and paur the meaning of
the metacards that the boys are holding to the metacards
that the girls are have. (Social Learning) (answer might vary with their arrangements)

We can see different types of plants everywhere. They

differ in size, shape, color, smell and even in their mode
of reproduction.
Like animals, plants need to continuously reproduce
through their seeds while some utilize other means.

Today we are going to learn more about the different
ways of plant reproduction.
But before we go through further with our lesson ,
we will have a group activity .
I Will divide the class into 3 groups. Look under your desk
and see what flowers are paste on it which will serve as
your group.

Group 1- Gumamela
Group 2-Rose
Group 3- Sampaguita
Did you know class that the
name Sampaguita comes from the Spanish
word “sumpa kita” which in translation means “I
promise you.
Declared as the national flower by Gov. Gen. Frank
Murphy through Proclamation No. 652 s. 1934, the
sweet-smelling white flowers of sampaguita (the
plant is a woody vine or shrub) has long been
celebrated in song, stories and legends

activity.



Once a pollen grains enters the stigma, it swells
and grows a long tube that travels through the
style until it reaches the ovary, the tube releases
the sperm cells into the ovule to fertilize the egg
cell. The fertilize egg and the ovule itself
develops into a seed. The ovary then enlarges
and thickens its walls to become some fruit.
These seeds grow into a new plant.

Can you give an example of plants that grows
