    Please be informed that PhilHealth Section is currently implementing a revision on process


    flow in all areas to streamline the processes. The main objective is to standardize both our
    data collection and processes to help us improve our overall accuracy and consistency.
    Claiming of PhilHealth benefit of a dialysis patient is one of the processes being revised.

    In view of the foregoing, we require our dialysis patient to report to PhilHealth before
    undergoing dialysis treatment. We will implement the policy of “No PhilHealth Approval
    No Hook Up”. We will provide approval to the patient/relatives to be presented to Dialysis
    nurse before the procedure. This is to monitor their dialysis sessions, minimize errors
    resulting to RTH and denying of claims and avoid delays on claim submission. For those
    patient schedule on an early morning treatment, we request their representative to report
    on our office to get the approval or if not accompanied, he is required to report to
    PhilHealth Section after the treatment.
