Polygon# v0.7.

8 Farmer Settings
These are Polygon# v0.7.8 settings explained, if you are using a later version some of these
descriptions might be outdated.

General Settings

- Start on boot: if enabled, the farmer service will start after the phone is rebooted. This requires
the lock screen to be completely disabled to work properly.

- Proximity sensor lock: if enabled, the screen will be turned off and the touch screen will be
disabled when the proximity sensor is activated. This may be particularly useful to those who wants
to run Polygon# in farmer mode for long periods of time.

- Max FPS: if enabled, Pokémon go will run at the maximum frame per seconds allowed by your
phone.

Geofence Settings

- Geofence center: set the center latitude and longitude of the area that your bot will cover.

- Geofence radius: set the radius of the area that your bot will cover. (in metres, maxium value is
7000m)

- Maximum jump distance: while farming, the bot scans nearby pokestops to see what pokemon is
near them. This is the maximum distance for a pokestop to be scanned.

Pokemon Tiers

Insert a string describing the Pokémon you want to put in a certain tier.
Pokémon not in these strings are in the Nanab Tier by default. Tiers are described below.

The string must have the following format: "id1,id2,id3,id4". For example, the string
66,246,408,529 includes Machop, Larvitar, Cranidos and Drilbur.

If you know what you are doing, you can also specify the form and the costume like this:
“id1:form1:costume1,id2:form2,id3:form3:costume3”. If you set the form and the costume to 0, or
if you don’t set it, any form/costume will match your string. For example, the strings “111,387” and
“111:0:0,387,0” are equal.

Golden Razz Tier: these Pokémon will be caught as soon as possible with a golden razz berry. The
bot will jump to nearby Pokéstops to catch these Pokémon, ignoring the maximum jump radius.
Pokémon belonging to this tier will never be released.
Razz Tier: basically the same as Golden Razz Tier, but with lower priority.

Silver Pinap Tier: these Pokémon will be caught using a pinap berry. Te bot will jump to nearby
Pokéstops to catch these Pokémon, ignoring the maximum jump radius. Pokémon belonging to this
tier will be released if their appraisal is 2 stars or less (<82%) and not shiny.

Pinap Tier: these Pokémon will be caught using a pinap berry. The bot will NOT jump to nearby
Pokéstops to catch these Pokémon. Pokémon belonging to this tier will be released if their IV
percentage is below 96% and not shiny.

Nanab Tier: these Pokémon will be caught only if they are shiny or have perfect IV. Pokémon
belonging to this tier will be released if they don't have perfect IV and are not shiny.
Shiny Check Tier: the bot will jump to nearby Pokéstops to scan these Pokémon. These Pokémon
will be caught only if they meet their tier criteria. (Nanab tier if no other tier is specified)

Trash Tier: these Pokémon will not be caught if they have perfect IV or they are shiny, and will
also be release unless stated otherwise. They will be caught only if they satisfy the stardust reward
constraint specified in the settings above, but will be always released.

Pokéstop Settings

Spin Pokéstops: if disabled, the bot will never Pokéstops.

Prioritize not visited Pokéstops; if enabled, the bot will try to spin never visited Pokéstops before
already visited ones.

Quests Settings

Complete quests: if enabled, the bot will try to actively complete quests and redeem the rewards. If
disabled, the bot will delete every quest immediately. The AR Geoscan quest will never be deleted
for the following reasons: the AR+ Geoscan quest does not occupy a quest spot in the quest list, so
there are three spots for other quests as usual. When the AR+ Geoscan quest is in the list, every
Pokéstop will always give regular quests, this is not true otherwise.

Complete quests for Pokémon: if disabled, the bot will delete quests that reward Pokémon without
completing them.

Complete quests for items: if disabled, the bot will delete quests that reward items without
completing them.

Complete quests for stardust: if disabled, the bot will delete quests that reward stardust without
completing them.

Complete quests for other rewards: if disabled, the bot will delete quests that rewards anything
else that hasn’t been listed above (e.g. mega energy, candies, xp…) without completing them.

Catch stacked quest encounters: if enabled, the bot will try to catch quest encounter rewards.
Catch research breakthrough reward: if enabled, the bot will try to catch the research
breakthrough. If disabled, the research breakthrough will still be redeemed, but not caught.

Catch special quest rewards: if enabled, special quest rewards will be caught. The bot is not able
to complete special quests right now, so they have to be redeemed manually.

Stack quest encounters: it is possible to stack up to 100 quest encounters before catching them. If
this option is enabled, the bot will catch quest encounter rewards only when there are more than 97
encounters in the stack.

Items Settings

Items to keep: quantity of items not to be recycled when the inventory is full and the item recycle
routine is performed. Each type of Pokéball, Potion and Revive is grouped together, and the worst
item is always recycled first (e.g. it keeps Ultraball over Pokeball).

Silver Pinap and Golden Razz berries, Sinnoh and Unova stones, and items not specified are never
recycled. Please be sure to not set these values to a low number to avoid all your ultra balls, max
potions and max revives to be recycled.

Golden razz berries: as specified above, Golden razz berries are never recycled. The “Golden razz
to keep” value is to set the Golden razz berries that shall not be used for other reasons, like
completing quests.

Feed exceeding berries to encounters: if this is enabled and you have more pinap or razz berries
then what the bot should keep, it will feed them to wild encounters. Razz berries will be fed if the
catch rate with ultra balls is below 50% or if pinap berries are not usable, otherwise pinap berries
will be fed.

Catch settings

- Catch Pokémon: if disabled, the bot will never catch any Pokémon.

- Enable Expert Handler bonus: if enabled, the AR+ expert handler bonus will be added to every
catch, granting 300 more points.

- Jump to nearby Pokémon stardust: if a Pokéstops instide the maximum jump radius has a
nearby Pokémon that rewards more than this value on catch, the bot will jump and try to catch this.
Set this to 2501+ if you want to disable this option.

- Catch pokemon stardust: this is the minimum stardust value for a Pokémon to be caught. Set this
if you want the bot to catch any Pokémon, or set this to 2501+ if you want to catch Pokémon for
other reasons only (e.g. shiny, 100% iv, unregistered, GBL perfect iv)

- Catch 0% Pokémon: - if enabled, the bot will catch 0% iv Pokémon.

- Catch unregistered Pokédex entries: if enabled, the bot will try to catch Pokémon whose
Pokédex entry is not registered. The bot will scan Pokéstop inside the maximum jump radius and
eventually jump to catch a nearby Pokémon.

- Catch unregistered Pokédex forms: if enabled, the bot will try to catch Pokémon whose
Pokédex entry is registered, but whose form or costume is missing. The bot will scan Pokéstop
inside the maximum jump radius and eventually jump to catch a nearby Pokémon.

- Catch Great/Ultra GBL Pokémon: if enabled, the bot will catch Pokémon that have perfect iv to
compete in Great/Ultra PVP battles.

- Prioritize catching at Pokéball: if there are less than these Pokéballs (including Great and Ultra)
in your inventory, the bot will prioritize spinning Pokéstops. Vice versa, the bot will try to catch
Pokémon that meet the criteria when more Pokéballs are in your inventory.

Incense Pokémon will always be caught, even if the main “Catch Pokémon” option is turned off.
They have maximum priority, and the maximum jump radius is lowered to 70 when an incense is
active.
Mystery boxes have the same behaviour. In addition, Meltan will always be fed pinap berries when
possible.

Release Settings:

- Release Pokémon: if disabled, no Pokémon will be ever released.

- Don’t release legendary Pokémon: if enabled, legendary Pokémon will not be released.

- Don’t release shadow above IV%: if enabled, shadow Pokémon that have an iv percentage
above the specified value will not be released.

- Don’t release purified Pokémon: if enabled, purified Pokémon will not be released.

- Don’t release 7km+ hatched Pokémon: if enabled, Pokémon hatched from 7km, 10km and
12km eggs will not be released.

- Don’t release Great/Ultra GBL perfect Pokémon: if enabled, Pokémon that have perfect iv for
Great/Ultra PVP battles will not be released.

- Don’t release Pokémon above cp: if enabled, Pokémon whose cp is higher than the value set will
not be released.

- Don’t release Pokémon above iv: if enabled, Pokémon whose iv percentage is higher than the
value set will not be released.

- Keep Pokémon older than days: if enabled, no Pokémon older than the value specified will be
released. One day means 24 hours, not last midnight.

- Don’t release: Insert here a string of pokemon that you never want to be released. The string
format is the same as the tier one. In addition, shiny and 100% Pokémon will never be released.
Eggs Settings:

- Incubate eggs: if enabled, eggs can be incubated. If other incubator types are allowed, unlimited
incubator is always prioritized.

- Unlimited incubator logic: the bot will incubate higher km first with “Highest first” logic, and
vice versa with “Lowest first” logic.
- Use basic incubators: if enabled, basic incubators will be used with a “Highest first” logic.

- Basic incubator max egg distance: the maximum km for an egg to be incubated by a basic
incubator.

- Use super incubators: if enabled, super incubators will be used with a “Highest first” logic.

- Super incubator min egg distance: the minimum km for an egg to be incubated by a super
incubator.

Gifts settings:

- Send gifts: if enabled, the bot will send gifts to friends when possible. Friends are chosen in no
particular order.

- Open gifts: if enabled, the bot will open gifts received from friends when possible. Again, the
gifts are chosen in no particular order.

Prioritize gift opening to get eggs: if enabled, gifts will be opened only when an egg space is
available. Also, no Pokéstop will be spun if a gift is in the inventory.

Buddy settings:

- Interact with buddy: if enabled, the bot will interact with the buddy to get it excited. The current
actions implemented are feeding, playing, taking snapshots, and opening gifts/souvenirs.
Most useful configs
Here are some of the most useful and requested configuration examples. For each one, only the
most important values are reported, the other values can be changed according to your needs.

Shiny, 100iv, pvp iv hunting

Spin pokestops: right now, it is suggested to leave this option on because the bot does not have a
Pokémon scanning logic implemented (yet), and it’s the best way to scan a good number of
Pokémon. Be aware that leaving the bot running too long with this settings will make your account
reach the weekly/daily Pokéstop limit quite easily.

Complete quests: preferably disabled.

Shiny check tier: if you are hunting for one or more specific Pokémon, it is suggested to put them
in the shiny check tier. Don’t abuse this, if you are hunting too many Pokémon or they are very
common, this will actually slow down the scanning. While using this option, the Maximum jump
distance should be at least 500m+, 700m is preferred.

Catch Pokémon: leave this enabled.

Jump to nearby Pokémon stardust, Catch Pokémon stardust: set this to 2501+ to disable
catching Pokémon exclusively for stardust

Catch Great/Ultra GBL perfect Pokémon: if you are hunting for pvp perfect Pokémon, then leave
this enabled. Disable this otherwise.

Stardust farming

Spin pokestops: absolutely on, you’ll run out of Pokéballs very soon otherwise.

Complete quests: this does not make that much of a difference, but it could be useful to have this
enabled with at least the “Complete quests for stardust” enabled as well.

Catch Pokémon: definitely on.

Jump to nearby Pokémon stardust: this will make the bot jump to Pokéstops when there is a high
stardust rewarding Pokémon near them. Since it will take some time for Pokémo to spawn on the
map, it’s suggested to go for nearby Pokémon only if they reward a decent amount of stardust. I
would suggest setting this to either 500 or 750. This needs the maximum jump radiust to be at least
500 to be useful.

Catch Pokémon stardust: set this to either 100 or 125. If you are in a high density Pokéstop area,
then it’s better to set this to 100, if the Pokéstop density isn’t top tier and there are many spawns,
125 could be better.

Incubate eggs: enabled, let’s use at least the unlimited incubator.

Release settings: you’ll catch many Pokémon, make sure not to run out of space.
Experience farming

Spin pokestops: absolutely on, you’ll run out of Pokéballs very soon otherwise.

Prioritize not visited pokestops: it can be useful to have this enabled, especially for new accounts.

Complete quests: again, this doesn’t actually make that much of a difference. It could be useful if
this is enabled with “Complete quests for Pokémon”. It could also be useful to have the “Complete
quests for items” to get more Pokéballs.

Catch Pokémon: definitely on.

Jump to nearby Pokémon stardust: either set this to 2501+, or set the maximum jump radius to
150.

Catch Pokémon stardust: set this to 100.

Catch unregistered Pokédex entries: it can be useful to have this enabled, especially for new
accounts.

Incubate eggs: enabled, let’s use at least the unlimited incubator.

Release settings: you’ll catch many Pokémon, make sure not to run out of space.
