CIRCULAR
It is to inform that the 2nd to the 5th year students of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.)
Degree Programme the following are the components of Continuous Assessment for the Academic year
2020-2021 (Even Semester).

It is also inform that the 2nd to the 5th year students of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and
B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme are instructed to follow the below mentioned Regulations
for the submission of Research Project for the End Semester Examinations (Even-Semester),
May-June, 2021.
I. Instructions for Submission of Research Project:
Word Limit

1 II Year 4500 to 5000 words exclusive of footnotes and bibliography.


2 III Year 3500 to 4000 words exclusive of footnotes and bibliography.
3 IV Year
2800 to 3000 words exclusive of footnotes and bibliography.

Citation
 The students are instructed to follow the Bluebook 20th Edition /ILI Format system of citation
for all the courses of the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) Degree Programme
for the End Semester Examinations (Even-Semester), May-June, 2021.

Mode of Submission
 All the students must submit their Research Project in TURNITIN only.
Similarity Percentage
 Students can check their similarity percentage through TURNITIN.
 All TURNITIN reports are colour coded and the level of similarity percentage for the
submitted Research Project which fall between blue and green alone will be considered for
evaluation and final assessment. Those submissions which are reported high similarity
percentage at the time of submission will be summarily rejected and will not be
considered for evaluation and final assessment.

 The concerned course faculty shall make all necessary arrangements for the TURNITIN
submission window to access the Slot –I and Slot –II courses.
 Students can upload and check his/her Research Paper/ Research Project drafts till
submission date as per TURNITIN policy (i.e., a maximum of three times a day). It is the
duty of the students to make sure that his / her submitted project on due date falls within the
acceptable limit under TURNITIN.
 Students should submit a self-attested declaration along with the Research Paper/ Research
Project at the time of submission (Please see Annexure – 1).

This Circular is issued on the directions of the Vice-Chancellor.
