Introduction

The Dermalog LF10 SDK consists of the following components:

The first component enables the LF10 scanner to process video data. The other
components offer the functionality for the image quality check and file operations.
The VC Life application demonstrates the functional range of the Video Capture
interface. All C/C++ Tutorial projects can be compiled with VS2008. C# and
VB.Net projects can be compiled with VS2010.

Installation and Installation

(Upgrade) Notes Please execute the setup.exe. The SDK files will be installed automatically.
Afterwards please use the provided documentation (“LF10 Software Development
Kit User Guide” & “LF10 Live Scanner User Guide”). If there is an older
Dermalog SDK version installed, then you will have to uninstall it first.
Afterwards install the new version.

System Processor: x86 and x64, min. Pentium dual core or equivalent
System Memory: 512 MB

SP1 32/64-bit, Windows 7 32/64-bit, Windows 2008 32-bit, Windows
2003 SP2 32-bit.
Networking: No
Existing Software: Windows Script v5.6 (Windows 2000 SP4) is
necessary as well as the Windows Installer v3.1 (all OS).
Software Protection: Dermalog Live Scanner LF10

The component provides its functionality through a C interface to

WINDOWS and will only run as long as a LF10 Live Scanner is successfully
connected to the executing workstation.

• Dermalog.Drawing: Trace notice in destructor of CDib class is eliminated.
