Four Step Guide
Four Step Guide
Hello! Nice to see you here. You're probably here because you're lacking
that crucial targeted traffic you need to your affiliate offers or website,
right? I know it's frustrating constantly seeking for new traffic methods,
not to mention the valuable time and money wasted on testing! Well, I
am here today to assist you with this problem.
So, are you familiar with Pinterest? I'm guessing you don't have much
experience on Pinterest or maybe it's the case that you've never even
tested it!? Pinterest seems to be overlooked by a lot of people who are
looking for free targeted traffic. I'll be honest, I was never familiar with
Pinterest until one of my internet marketing friends informed about his
amazing experience using a traffic method on the platform. When I
tested the traffic method out for myself and saw the logic behind it, it
then hit home as to why my buddy had such great success with the
method.
Now you probably didn't know it, but there are tons of hidden pools of
free traffic in any niche you can think off. This guide explains exactly
how you can exploit these free pools of traffic to your affiliate offers or
your website.
What is Pinterest?
Your Pinterest account gives you virtual “Pin boards” where you can
“Pin” anything you find interesting on the web.
Not only can you pin your favourite things you find on the web, but you
can also browse what other people are pinning. You can follow your
favourite Pinners and re-pin anything they like that also interests you.
When you pin an image on Pinterest, it creates a clickable link to your
affiliate offer or website.
It's safe to say, Pinterest is a new way of browsing the Internet. Did you
know that the platform has actually been around since March 2010? I
found this quite surprising since I never even really noticed this platform
during my internet marketing years! It just goes to show that we are
always learning something new and we never know it all. What I also
find fascinating about this platform, no matter what niche you are in,
there are undoubtedly going to be pin boards to support it!
Let's start!
Not familiar with Affiliate marketing? Read first!
What's a niche? - This is the type of market we're in. When we target
our audience/traffic, it's absolutely crucial that you're promoting a
product that they are pacifically interested in. Let's say I wanted to
promote a weight loss product to an audience that was interested in body
building - is that a good idea? NO! My target audience is clearly
interested in building muscle and NOT losing weight. This is an
example of non-targeted traffic.
Ok, so let's elaborate and use some examples. Let's say I plan to be an
affiliate for a popular health product in the weight loss niche.
The first thing I would do, is head over to google and type in: "weight
loss affiliate programs" I would then sign up for all affiliate programs
that offered the desired products that I could promote. I only target
popular/hot products that I think will convert well with my traffic.
Tip: After typing Weight loss affiliate programs" into google. Try and
find the site that offers a selection of ALL the weight loss affiliate
programs all in one site. This saves the time of having to manually scroll
down the page to find the best site.
Example of some weight loss product affiliate programs:
https://www.phen375.com/ - https://phen24.com/ -
https://www.evolution-slimming.com/
The sign-up process is very straight forward. However, some programs
may take a few days to approve your account. Some programs may even
reject you. You don't really need to worry about this because, in my
experience, this does not happen often enough.
Once you're approved for the affiliate program, you'll then have the
option to access to tools and your referral links. That's basically it.
Affiliate marketing is a simple process. The tricky part is finding
targeted traffic. This guide will teach you how to get that targeted traffic
to your affiliate offers.
(Don't worry about creating your account now! You can revert back
to this after you've read the guide)
So, let’s take a look at what Pinterest looks like so you get a better idea
of how this works.
Here’s a view of the home page of Pinterest.
On the home page, you'll be shown Pins that are related to your interests.
Ok, so that's cleared up...
You now need to have a niche in mind. It's also important to bear in mind
that you keep separate accounts for different niches.
The image you want to present is of someone being friendly, helpful and
knowledgeable in ONE subject. Let's say for example I wanted to come
across as somebody who was knowledgeable about a weight loss product.
It would not look good for me if I was knowledgeable in all these
different subjects, would it? It makes me look more of an advertiser
rather than somebody who is trying to help. So, remember, use one niche
per account.
Step 2) A bit of optimization
Ok, so you've selected a niche. It's now time to start creating some
Boards to make our profile look appealing. The first part of the process
is to fill your "Board" full of quality Pins that are related to your niche.
You don't need to spend time creating your own pins. Simply follow my
process to get access to these quality Pins:
1) Create a "Board" with a name that's related to your niche (you can
come back to this later and edit the Board name and description) To
create a board, click "Saved" at the Top right corner
2) Once you clicked on "Saved", you will be directed to the Board section
where you can Create your first Board:
3) Once your Board is created, using the Pinterest "Search" bar, you must
type in targeted keywords that are related to your niche. So, let's say I'm
in the Weight loss niche.
4) Under "All pins" OR "People" search for a quality pin that's related to
your niche. This is the type of "Pin" I would go for. It's colourful,
appealing and helpful.
3) Repeat this process around 10 - 15 times per day. If you want to pin
more than 15 you can do this no problem and I even encourage it.
Conclusion
So, what's the real purpose of this step? Well, firstly, no one is going to
"Follow" you if your profile is completely bear with 1 Board. We want
to come across as genuine as possible to our target audience. Being
helpful, knowledgeable and not coming across as a spammer is the key
to this.
I would advise having at least 6-7 boards per account. 1 Board should be
niche related, the other Boards should be things that you're personally
interested in. So maybe a type of sport or maybe a Board with some
amazing photos of around the world. Favourite food? That type of
thing... I also like to create a Board that contains jokes and humour. The
real point I'm trying to make is that it's imperative that you come across
as real as possible to your target audience.
Adding Extra boards with personal interests and joke/humour type
Boards, really can make all the difference to your traffic and how people
perceive you
Anyway, I hope I made this clear enough. Before we leave this subject, I
just wanted to show you one of my accounts. Click here to see the
example (it would not fit on the page!) So, this is what you should be
aiming. As you can see it's nice and simple and I clearly look like a real
person with real interests instead of looking like a spammy advertiser!
Step 3 Time to build!
Ok, so now that your "Boards" Look pretty and appealing, it's safe to say
that people are much more likely to follow you now. So now it's now
time to start Following other "Followers" who are targeted to your
niche. This is when things start to get interesting because you're now in
the process of building your target audience.
1) Using the Pinterest "Search" bar, you must type in targeted keywords
that are related to your niche. So, let's say I'm in the "Make money
online" niche this time.
2) Click on the category "Boards" Then click on any of the Boards on the
top row.
Let's say I clicked on the very first Board on the top row...
Wow! Just look at that... That's almost 100k followers which are people
who are related to my niche! That's a huge pool of traffic that I bet you
didn't know about! I hope you're starting to realise the power of this
method.
3) Click on "Followers" and simply start Following everyone on that
Board.
Important note: You can Follow up to 150 people per hour until you get
this message:
Simply come back an hour later and repeat the process. By the way...
Don't constantly click/follow one after the other or you may be wrongly
detected as a Bot. I might click about 5 in a row and then pause, click a
few more times, pause... and so on and so forth.
Conclusion
Again, you're probably wondering the purpose of this process. Every
time you "Follow" someone on Pinterest, they receive an email alerting
them that they have a new follower. This gives them an opportunity to
check out your pin boards and possibly follow you back! So why is it in
their interest to "Follow" you back?
When a Pinterest user Follows you, they are now subscribed to you!
This means now means that they will see all of your future pins that you
post. Not only that, if a follower decides to "Pin" one of your pins
(which will happen), the Followers of that Follower will then see your
Pin and may also decide to Follow you! This is how you exploit
Pinterest and generate multiple income streams in different niches!
Ok, so I hope that's all understood. You should by now have an
understanding of what you're going to be doing and how and why this
method is so effective.
Step 4) Time to Pin!
Once you've got a Following of around 500, it's time to start creating
your Pins that contain your affiliate links or a Pin that directs people to
your website.
Let's use the Weight loss niche as an example. Let's say I was an affiliate
for a popular weight loss product. The type of image should be a warm
and colourful picture of the product.
Here's an example of what I would Pin for a product in the weight loss
niche:
Notice how I used bright colours in my picture. Also, you'll see I've
added some related keywords in the description. This will help my Pin
to rank in the Pinterest search bar just like it would in normal SEO.
Once I've posted my Pin, it should look like this:
1) Go to your "Boards" section and click on the Board you posted your
pin to. In my case, it would be Board "My weight loss..."
2) Edit the pin by clicking on the Pencil button.
3) Add your affiliate link:
It's important to note that you should not Re-pin the same offer on the
same day. You should leave it a few days until you Repin. The only
reason I say this is because it's imperative that we don't come across as a
spammy advertiser.
Let's use weight loss in this next example and let's say I'm promoting a
shake product again. My final pin for this offer would be something like
"Nooo! I went shopping and forgot to buy some more shakes :(" That's
the sort of style I use when Pinning.
Just make sure you use your common sense when thinking about
Repining an offer. Your objective always remains the same which is to
appear as a real person with real interests for that particular subject.
Providing you do everything correctly and you follow my steps carefully,
you will drive that traffic to your offers/site and generate sales.
Just remember, every time one of your followers Pins one of your Pins,
their followers are then also exposed to your pin and have the option to
also Follow you. This is why it's very important when creating our Pins.
They must look appealing!
Can you see the power of that? It’s a cycle that pushes your content
further than any other marketing platform ever has!
Important tips.
Remember to provide each Board with a description. Add at least 1
keyword and relevant information that's related to your niche. You
also have the option to choose a subcategory for your Board. To see
all these options, simply click the "Edit button" on the bottom left-
hand corner of that Board.
You don't need to use your real name when setting up each
Pinterest account.
Pinning from 2PM-4PM EST and 8PM-1AM EST increases the
chances of your Pins being seen.

UPDATES!
How and where to create your pins? - I've always used Canva. This is
truly an amazing service and it's free. Not only is it free, it's also very
simple to use with high-quality features. There's also a lot of free
templates to choose from!
When using Canva, make sure you select the correct design. Here's the
design that you'll need to choose before creating your Pin:
Show them how – Appreciate the information that will help them act on
an idea. As Pinners narrow down their options, they love saving lists and
instructions. Featuring how to do's or step by step guides can encourage
Pinners to actually try the idea you're promoting.
Take advantage of the Text Overlay feature - Text overlays designed for
clicks lead people to action, include information that will help a close-to-
deciding Pinner see that your offer or product is a fit. Highlight elements
of the Pin that aren't obvious from the image, like a special feature of the
offer/product.
When to consider Text Overlays - Only use text overlay when the image
doesn't provide enough context on its own. Text overlays designed for
clicks lead people to action. Include information that will help a "close
to" deciding Pinner see that your offer or product is a hit. Highlight
elements of the Pin that aren't obvious from the image, like a special
feature of a product.
Rich pins - Consider using Rich pins. People love Pins packed with
information. Rich pins help you provide more detail by putting important
information like pricing and product availability right into the Pin.
Complement that detail with the inspirational or helpful text in the Pin's
description field.
To check out Auto-Pin, Click Here. Once you're done, create an account,
which is free. Ok, once you're logged in, go Here to read the User
Manual.
So, you're probably now wondering how you're going to be getting this
software for FREE, every single month! Let me explain it all now...
Well, the first thing you're going to need to do is to extend your 5-day
trial to 10 days.
To do this, it's very simple and takes 30 seconds! Firstly, click on the tab
found on the top-right hand corner of the page
Ok done! So, you'll now get 10 days until your account expires. Once the
account expires, you'll get this message:
So, how to get the software for free? What I'm about to show you is so
simple! Now, the first step is to change your Pinterest email address. To
do this, first, click on your Profile. You'll then see:
Click on the Bolt. Once your email address has been updated, all you
then need to do is create another Auto-Pin account with the same email
address that was used when you updated your Pinterest email address.
Once your 10-day trial has expired, simply Repeat this simple process!
You can literally create as many accounts as you like!
If you want to create a new email address in less than 1 minute, I suggest
that you use Outlook.com.
You can also have multiple Auto-Pin accounts running at the same time!
How? The real gem about this software is that you don't even need to be
logged into Pinterest OR Auto-Pin for the software to work its magic.
Absolutely brilliant or what!?
You can literally login to each Auto-Pin account, set and forget and then
turn off your computer if you wanted.
At some point down the line, you're going to be wondering about what
Speed setting that I use on Auto-Pin.
I've always used Fast speed ever since I used the software.
My Pinterest's accounts are under 6 months old and I still haven't had any
issues. I'm not encouraging you to do the same as me but I'm telling you
because you're obviously going to be curious.
You're probably thinking "This is all good but are the Followers going
to be targeted to my Niche?!" The answer is YES! Thanks to the
software interface, it allows you to type in Keywords that are related to
your niche. This means that the software will only Auto Follow people
who are interested in your niche. Below, is a Follower that the software
Followed automatically. (This example is in the MakeMoneyOnline
niche.)
The software will follow a user roughly every 2 minutes on "Fast" mode.
The reason for this, the software runs on a long-term outlook. The
algorithm of the software is programmed to represent human intelligence
which is the reason for the 2-minute delay. Am I annoyed about this
slight delay? Absolutely not! The software puts these measures in place
for a reason and one reason only! We DO NOT want our account to get
flagged! And anyway, just remember, the software is doing all this work
for you...
You can go to sleep for 8 hours and come back and be surprised to find
how many people you "Followed" automatically by the software. The
thing I love about this feature, you can just set and forget and leave it to
run automatically, Following targeted Pinterest users.
"Scheduling" - Ah, what a great feature this is. This allows you to set up
your schedule all in ONE day. You can set up your weeks schedule in
less than 30 minutes! Do you remember I previously mentioned the best
times to Pin? Here's a reminder " Pinning from 2PM-4PM EST and 8PM-
1AM EST increases the chances of your Pins being seen."
This feature will now enable you to do this if you were unable to pin at
these times. This feature is also very handy for when you start creating
multiple accounts and promoting multiple offers. Before this software
was introduced, we would have to manually login to each account and
Pin manually which can be tedious.
This feature Automates Step 4)
"Follow User" - This feature invites Pinterest users who are pinning
items related to your niche to follow and pin on your boards, in turn
making your boards grow even faster. Again, the software will only
target people who are targeted to your niche.
That's everything for now! Any features that I've left out, it's because I
don't use them and therefore, cannot comment. Please feel free to email
with your success with the software and also any feedback with any of
the other features that I've not mentioned. I would very be interested to
hear about it.
If you've got anything to ask me, please email:
tr.fourstepguide@outlook.com and I'll respond ASAP.
Good luck and best regards!
