Don’t laugh at me
The song is a ballad in which various characters, such as children who
have been teased or a homeless man begging on a street corner, ask for
acceptance from others.
Wills has received letters from teachers and students who have said that they
can identify with the song's story. According to him, "everyone can relate to
[the song]…Everyone at some point in their life has been picked on, made fun
of or put down." He told Billboard magazine that the song is "one of the
strongest songs I've ever recorded in terms of dealing with life in general."
The song helped inspire Yarrow to found the non-profit organization
Operation Respect , promoting tolerance and civility programs in education.
2.Human

he is still our fellow humans are forbidden to insult even if there is a lack of
physical condition so we must respect one another human who also has many
shortcomings
3.Everyday People
The song is one of Sly Stone's pleas for peace and equality between
differing races and social groups, a major theme and focus for the band. The
Family Stone featured Caucasians Greg Errico and Jerry Martini in its lineup,
as well as females Rose Stone and Cynthia Robinson; making it the first major
integrated band in rock history. Sly and the Family Stone's message was
about peace and equality through music, and this song reflects the same.
