• INTRODUCTION

We would love to introduce a change in coffee serving business


in North India which brings us to the idea of starting a Coffee
processing business. Business plans are considered as an
important step for starting a business especially for
entrepreneurs because it helps to decide a detailed description
of what is the mission? What objectives are to be achieved? Is
it feasible? and many other details required for planning
towards the effective functioning of the business and it also
helps us to track the progression from the beginning and helps
the business to grow. This assignment showcases our business
plan formulated for a Coffee processing business.

• IDEA SUMMARY :

The Idea is to process the fine coffee beans in north India and
sell the online direct to the consumer and the retailers.
The maximum numbers of coffee processing plants are in
south part of India and if the consumer want to buy it in
north India the cost will be more then expectation or the
pocket of the consumer which will affect the sale of coffee
beans and grind coffee.
In my processing plant the fine raw coffee beans will be come
directly from the Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and will
be processed in my plant where the beans will be ready for
the final delivery for the consumer.
An online portal will be made for the consumer to order the
coffee from processing plant to directly to their door step.
In my portal or website there will be the different category
for the coffee beans in different price also and bulk order will
also be made after getting register as a dealer with the
brand.
• MARKET OVERVIEW

The global coffee beans market size was valued at USD 27.0 billion
and is expected to expand at a CAGR of 6.7% from 2019 to 2025.
Increasing penetration of franchise outlets such as CCD and
Starbucks in India, China, and other countries is the main factor
anticipated to drive the market over the forecast period. Demand for
coffee beans is expected to witness significant growth owing to the
increasing application of such beans in various sectors including
pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food and beverages.
Coffee is gaining popularity among the young population, especially
in India and China. Owing to growing popularity, various franchise
retailers are entering these markets to meet consumer demand.
India has more than 1,400 registered cafés. In China, Starbucks alone
has more than 1,500 outlets. The number of cafes is expected to
increase in the coming years, which is expected to fuel demand for
robusta and arabica beans over the forecast period.
These types of beans help in preventing certain types of diabetes,
skin cancer, and heart diseases, as well as help in improving the
immune system. Growing awareness related to the health benefits of
these beans has resulted in an increase in consumption among the
diabetic population as it helps in reducing the risk of diabetes type 2.
This, in turn, is expected to fuel demand for coffee beans over the
forecast period.
Arabica and robusta beans are widely used owing to their caffeine
content. Robusta contains 2.7% caffeine, which is almost double of
1.5% of arabica. Also, arabica type is pleasant in taste and contains
almost 60% lipid and almost twice concentration of sugar than
robusta owing to which people prefer arabica over robusta. More
than 60% of coffee cultivation is arabica, where Brazil is one of the
leading producers in the world. Arabica has higher acidity than
robusta, which adds a fruity, chocolate, and nutty flavor of the
beans.

• MARKETING STREAGY
Most helpful tool in marketing my product of website is
social media platform, where I can share my daily post, my
Daly costumer review, my processing plant images as well as
videos, second and most effective think I can do to market
my product is to provide or distribute free testers to the
consumer which will be again order from my portal to the
costumer,the main component in marketing according to me
is transparency to the consumer at every platform.
• FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY

There are a many resource needs which contributes to


the high startup costs of a Coffee business At the very least
we will need the following
❖ Machinery (For processing coffee beans)
❖ Human Resources
❖ Generator (Power Backup)
• Online portal ( Own website)
Considering all these needs in mind we have estimated our
total cost to be around 10-20 lakhs which is shown
elaborately in the budget projection.
• Conclusion

From this assignment we could understand that running and


managing an E-coffee business requires careful planning and
innovation. There are tons of legal and commercial
requirements which has to be met and decisions to be weighed
to make the business a great success. In total, from this
assignment we have learnt that business plan is like a roadmap
to entrepreneurs and without a proper plan we will lose our
direction to success and proper plans we lead the business to-
words the right direction, making your business visibleb at
online platform is very important for today life because at this
time we are moving way more faster to virtual world so if your
business is online we can explore many things and do
innovating thing every day.
