One of the most dynamic thing in this era is technology which is always targeted at

solving life complexities such as the management of the big data that we encounter on a day to

day basis (Mochocki et al., 2021). The kind of data that we deal with each day is so large hence

the need to have the best database in place aimed at collecting, analyzing and sharing these

massive data (Miiro & Nääs, 2015). It is argued that there are about 3 billion smartphones and

over 20billion smart devices with the number on a continuous rising trajectory (Miiro & Nääs,

2015). It is the aim of every organization to have the best database in place that works faster and

without the need of the users to jump hoops to perform a particular task.

Database performance is one of the most common problems encountered by users during

the implementation phase. A database can be said to be superior if it involves deployment with

good default, together with the ability to recognize an operational environment and adjust

automatically (Mochocki et al., 2021). It therefore implies that the good performance of the

database does not depend on full-time babysitting. A database should therefore built for high-

performance regardless of the hardware that would be used (Mochocki et al., 2021). A database

can be said to have a good native performance if it has the ability to perform effectively in older

machines together with smaller machines such as the Raspberry Pis (Mochocki et al., 2021).

In conclusion, performance of a database can be said to be a problem that could be faced

in a knowledge-centric workplace. The good performance aspect of a database can be achieved

through continuous updating (Mochocki et al., 2021). This is because of the fact that the internet

world is on a continuous change and hence he need for organization to keep up with the pace.

Organizations should therefore develop database with good native performance in order to

survive the problems that may be encountered.
