This transfer does not contain Grantor's principal residence.
‘The designation Grantor and Grantee as used herein shall include said parties, their heirs,
successors, and assigns, and shall include singular, plural, masculine, feminine or neuter as
required by context,
The Grantor, for a valuable consideration paid by the Grantee, the receipt of which and
sulficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, has and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell
and convey unto the Grantee in fee simple, all that certain parcel of land particularly as follows:
LYING IN THE CITY OF ASHEVILLE, BUNCOMBE COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA.

encumbrances, and that Grantor will warrant and defend the title against lawful claims of all
persons whomisoever except for the exceptions herein after stated
Title to the property hereinabove described is subject to the following exceptions: easements and
rights of way of record.

BEING a portion of Lot 8 and all of Lot 9 as shown on a plat of the J.C. Shackleford property recorded in
the Office of the Register of Deeds for Buncombe County, North Carolina, in Plat Book 6 at Page 137 and
being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING on a stake in the southern margin of West Chapel Road at the Northeast corner of Lot No.
10 as shown on said plat and runs thence with the Southern margin of West Chapel Rd, North 68 deg.
18’ East 65 feet to a stake; thence South 21 deg.42' East 154.76 feet to a stake; thence South 72 deg.
30" West 65 feet to a stake at the common corner of Lots 9, 10, 18 & 19 of said plat; thence with the
Eastern line of Lot No. 10 of said plat North 21 deg. 42’ West 150 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
This property was acquired by Theodore J. Dimsdale and wife, Ruby B. Dimsdale in that deed recorded in
Deed Book 1082 at Page 246, Buncombe County Registry. The said Theodore Dimsdale died in 1989 and
the said Ruby B. Dimsdale died intestate in 1999 leaving one child, James David Dimsdale.
