    Dear Parent/Guardian:

    Farmdale Elementary has been authorized by


    the California Department of Education to operate a Title I Schoolwide Program. As a result, the
    school receives resources from the state and federal governments that enable us to upgrade the
    entire educational program in order to help all students meet the challenging state standards.

    A comprehensive needs assessment and an analysis of the student achievement data were
    conducted to develop a Single Plan for Student Achievement. This was completed through the
    collaborative efforts of staff and parents. The schoolwide program includes strategies to raise
    the academic achievement of all students.

    The following services are available from the school’s Title I site-based resources to assist your
    child (examples are listed below):

    • paraprofessionals
    • teacher coaching
    • additional support staff (nurse, etc.)
    • computers
    • tutoring

    If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s participation in the program, please
    contact the school’s office at (323) 222-6659.

    Farmdale Elementary ha sido autorizada


    por el Departamento de Educación de California para operar un Programa Título I de Toda la
    Escuela. Como resultado, la escuela recibe recursos de los gobiernos estatal y federal que nos
    permite mejorar todo el programa educativo a fin de ayudar a todos los estudiantes a satisfacer
    las normas retadoras estatales.

    Una evaluación total de las necesidades y un análisis de la información del aprovechamiento del
    estudiante fueron llevados a cabo para desarrollar un Plan Único para el Aprovechamiento del
    Estudiante. Esto fue completado a través de los esfuerzos con la colaboración del personal
    escolar y los padres. El programa de toda la escuela incluye estrategias para aumentar el
    aprovechamiento académico de todos los estudiantes.

    Los siguientes servicios están disponibles de los recursos con base en la escuela del Título I para
