    Spring Internship

    Hours worked this week: 22 hours.

    Hours Total: 333 hours.

    Monday: I met with my supervisors and brought it to their attention that I have been overworking

    hours here at the internship. So as of right now I am only required to come in 4 days a week with

    Friday off and I will still be well over 480 hours by the last day of the semester.

    Tuesday: I volunteered at the food drive. It was wet and rainy however we still got to put in the

    work and help.

    Wednesday: Today was a very productive day at work. A patient stopped me on my way in and

    we talked about the ACL surgery he just had here at the surgery center. Its always so good

    talking to patients and hearing their success stories. After that, I began to send all of the

    information I had compiled as far as the EAP goes and I sent that email and information over to

    my supervisors. I then began to work on some Diabetes patient A1C information and added the
    new infographics and updated the page like I was asked to do by Rebecca and Robin. After this I

    met with the different providers and updated their LinkedIn pages and made sure everything was

    how it should be. Overall, I feel as if I had made such a great relationship with the providers. I

    am very happy about this for sure.

    Thursday: Thursday I worked on some patient education packets which included things steroid

    injections and how to properly spot neglect and abuse in patients.

    Friday: Off
