CURVE
GANTT CHART
GANTT CHART: DEFINITION
S-CURVE
- Is a visual representation of the project path. Managers use it to
assess the progress against the estimates and course-correct
accordingly.
- A graph plotting cumulative variables against time variable.
STEPS IN CONSTRUCTING A GANTT
CHART
1. Draw the network diagram from the activity-precedence table.
2. Calculate the ES, EF, LS, LF, TF, FF.
3. Start drawing the bars in the Gantt Chart by plotting the ES or EF of
each activity.
4. Graph the critical path first. Followed by the non-critical activities
and show the dependencies using arrows and dummies.
EXAMPLE
A =10 B=6
G=5 N=7

C=3 J=4

D=2 E=7 H=4
