PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFETY

CAUTIONS
 Do not open time switch
 This may lead to electrical shock
 Only qualified person may open the timer switch.
 If seal is broken, warranty is voided

SETTING THE TIME


Turn the program dial clockwise to set the hour on the pointer, and then turn the
programing dial again, to set precisely the minute on the pointer.
SETTING ON AND OF SEQUENCE
Push the pins outward on the specific time to turn ON the Timer Switch, and maintain
the pins inward, to turn OFF the Timer Switch.

Manual Control ON/OFF (Override Control)

Turn the axis (1) in direction of arrow by one notch ON= or OFF= .
The manual control is automatically annulled by the following counteracting command of
the automatic program sequence.

Permanent ON/OFF

Permanent Control ON/OFF


Set the hand lever (2) to >>Perm<< = permanent control; turning the control axis (1) in
direction of arrow, the required permanent control ON or OFF can now be adjusted.
Turning the hand level to >>Auto<< = Automatic Control, the permanent control is
terminated. The actual switch position is maintained until the next counteracting
command of the automatic program sequence is triggered. An immediate correction can
be carried out by means of manual control (override control).

EMC
The time switches are in accordance with the European directive 73/23/EEC (Low-
Voltage Directive) and 89/336/EEC (EMC Directive) If the time switches are used
together with other devices in an installation, take care that the complete installation
does not cause a radio interference.
