Introduction

Bangladesh is currently producing over 300 thousand plastic every year. These plastic are not
being reused they are being thrown away. As we already know plastic is not bio-degradable.
Due to that they don’t dissolve in. This eventually ends up in swears and rivers clogging them
and polluting the river. These plastic eventually end up in the ocean and pollute it and the
animals living in it. Use of plastic has become a major problem in recent years. As plastic is
used for everything and when done they are thrown away which pollutes the environment.
This plastic can be recycled and reused in the future. This save the environment and also save
money for the people.

To solve this major issue ReusEco comes in. We provide people the chance to recycle and
reuse the plastic products. This save money for them also helps the environment from getting
polluted.

ReuseEco is the new innovative solutions to reduce plastic and other waste which are harmful
to the environment and getting the ability to reuse them rather than throwing them. We take
the plastic and make a new product out of that plastic. Our tagline is “Never refuse to reuse”.

Underlying Processes

We will be using Possession processing. We will mainly work with plastic which belong to
the customers. They will give us the plastic and we will make them a new product out of it.
As we will have their material in our possession we will be using this process to provide our
service to them. We won’t own the product nor the materials. We will just provide the service
to them and make something new from that.

The Servuction System

 Service operation- In this system includes the process of which the plastic is made
into a new product which would be the backend. In the frontend it includes the in
shop personal who interact with the customers. We will have an interactive system to
reduce mistakes in both backend and frontend. By using the system we will make
sure that the people who will work in the backend will know what they have to make
as soon as the frontend people receives the order. We will have pamphlets where
people will get the idea how our backend works. This will be done to earn the trust of
the customers.
 Service Delivery- This system includes the Delivery of the service. This will be done
in 2 ways. People can get their order from the service point we will have around the
Dhaka city. We will have 3-4 shops around the Dhaka city. People can also get there
order delivered to their home as well. During the order placement we will give the
customers the options of how they want the order to be delivered. We will also have
a mobile app which will show them how the product will be delivered etc. Also using
that app people will easily be able to connect with our customer services as well. In
the app there will be a separate section which will be for the customer support.
 Service Marketing- This system includes the marketing part and delivery part. We
will have different advertisement method. We will use billboards, social media and
SEO to market our service. We will let people know about the harms plastic can do

to the environment. Also we will let people know about the economic saving that
they will have if they recycled the plastic that they have. In terms of delivery, as
mentioned before we will have 2 different way by which we will deliver the final
service in case of our the product.

Degree of Contact

The degree of contact of our service is Medium. In our service we will have direct contact
with the customers. They will give us the material needed for our service during the placing
of the order. The customers will be able to do that by coming to our service points. They will
give us the order. Then we will give them the delivery option they want and deliver the
product to them. As the customers won’t stay during the complete delivery system we will
have a medium degree of contact with the customers.

Basic Focus Strategy

There are 4 type of focus strategy. Those are- Fully Focused, Service Focused, Market Focus
and Unfocused. In our Service we will be using Unfocused Strategy. In this strategy we will
be providing our service to everyone. Anyone with spare plastic in there house can come to
use to get the service. As it is a new service in Bangladesh and we are a startup we don’t want
to corner our self by targeting a specific group. Due that we have decided to go for unfocused
service strategy. We hope to get the most customers and let everyone know about our
business by using unfocused strategy.

7Ps of Service

Product

Our product is recycled plastic. We take waste plastic from our consumers along with the fee
required to turn it into something usable and will not end up as polluting plastic. We aim to
reduce plastic waste and the demand for new plastic by reusing the existing plastic in the
world, elongating the duration of use of the same plastics. Consumers who have
environmental concerns will definitely appreciate our service and product.

Place

We will start selling products and collecting waste plastic from our outlets in Dhanmondi and
Mohammadpur initially. Consumers will provide us the waste plastic and tell us their desired
product from our catalogue. We will collect their plastic waste and send it to your processing
facility in Savar. There the plastic is processed and transformed into their desired product and
then shipped back into the store. If the consumers live in the same area as our service outlets,
we can deliver the final product to them for free.

Price

The pricing strategy will be value based as we are charging according to the amount of plastic
provided and the cost of making the end product. However, some plastic is lost during the
process as it cannot be fully efficient. Hence, the amount of plastic given back to the
consumer is not equal to the amount given by the consumer

Promotion 

Our promotion strategies will include a lot of Green Marketing as our aim is to create a
cleaner, safer and pollution-free planet. We will promote our brand through Social Media
Marketing at first as it is the most cost effective option to reach your audience. And then we
will start handing out flyers printed with ecofriendly papers and organic ink which will
highlight our environment friendly approach to business. Eventually when we can increase
our promotion budget, we can opt for television ads, newspaper ads, magazine ads, billboards
etc. We will have promotional offers during slow sales seasons.

For social media advertising, our posts will contain global climate and pollution facts.
Content will be regularly uploaded to keep the audience engaged. Photo and Video content
will be posted regularly and for our ads, we will educate people about the effects of plastic
pollution and how they can avail our service to reduce their plastic footprint and also have
usable products by paying a fee and providing us with waste plastic. 

Our Television ads will be similar to the social media ads but will be longer with longer
content so that we can spread our message to television audiences. 

We will use search engine optimization to make our business more visible online. 

People

The staff we hire will be tested on their knowledge on the environment, chemistry, global
warming and other relevant topics. We will then train them to fully understand the way we
are going to operate so that they can sell our service to the consumers. The sales associates
must be able to raise awareness about pollution and global warming to the consumers with
accurate facts. 

Process

Our Service will be the same across all our stores for all our consumers. To ensure reliable
and up to standard service to our consumers, we will have a process plan through which all
orders will be put through. Our staff will be trained to undertake any order in the same

manner as per our requirements. We will provide a step by step blueprint to all out staff so
that the process chain is followed thoroughly. All our orders will be processed in the service
outlets, processed in our facility in Savar and then either delivered back to the customer or
they can collect it from the service outlet. Eventually, we will develop a mobile app and
website through which consumers can request our services online. We will take the waste
from their doorstep and deliver the product after processing via logistical partners and
couriers.

Physical Evidence

Our outlets will have an eco-friendly yet modern theme. It will be a refreshing experience
when consumers enter our outlets and avail our service. The outlet will be decorated with
environmentally friendly materials which will be designed to appeal to the modern aesthetic
senses of consumers.  Our service is to take waste from a client and turn it into a product.
Hence, clients leave our outlets with tangible evidence of our service.

Place and Time decisions of deliveries

To maximize efficiency, we will have one processing facility where plastic waste will be
processed into usable products. To maximize accessibility to the consumers, we will have 2-4
service outlets in Dhaka. The waste plastic is shipped to the processing facility and back to
the service outlet. This process will take 2 business days to be completed. Consumer submits
us with the waste plastic on Day 1, the plastic is sent to the processing facility at the end of
day 1. The next day, the plastic is processed and sent back to the service outlet by the end of
day 2. On day 3, the consumer can come to the store to pick up their product or it can be
delivered to them for free if they live in the same area as the outlet. The same vehicle will
take waste to the facility and bring finished products to the store on the same journey in order
to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times. Eventually, we plan to expand into
country-wide operations through the use of logistical outsourcing and implementing
automated service requests via our website or mobile app.

Possible Service Development Scope in the Future

Once we have enough waste plastic inflow, we can reduce the service time. We can source
waste plastic in bulk from scrap yards as well to keep the operations running without any
hiccups. With enough waste plastic in stock, we can maximize production of plates, boxes
and cutleries. We can have a process chain and diversify our products by allocation which
products are to be produced and when. By doing this, our service outlets can be turned into
stores where the products are displayed and stocked for purchase. Consumers will be able to
buy with list price and also reduce the price by providing us with waste plastic. If a customer
returns a set amount of waste, they will earn store credits which they can use to purchase our
products. Our implementation of mobile apps and interactive website will make it more
accessible for the consumers as we will be able to collect waste from their addresses and also
deliver the products to the consumers. 

Core & Supplementary Service

Core Service- Recycling plastics products in order to get usable plastic product. We will take
plastic material provided us from the customers and use those plastic to make them a new
product which they will be able to use. Rather than throwing the plastics they have, people
will get the chance to create something new out of it. Also they will be able to use that
product in the future.

Supplementary services- Information Pamphlets would be provided for getting the


information of how this thing works, the Billing process and also the prices of the products
that can be made through the plastic waste.

Pick Up services will be provided in request if any individual would like us to take their
plastic products. As we would be collecting as well as people would be able to give the
plastics waste to us through our collection points as well.

Customer care services will be provided. People could easy contact our customer care
services if they are in need of help. People will be easily able to reach us through our app,
website etc.

We will provide Delivery services. We will be providing our delivery services all around
Bangladesh. During the order placement customers will be given a choice of they would like
to have their order delivered to them. We will provide free delivery to the customers.

Overcoming Intangibility Factor in Communication

Providing reviews of the products by customers. Showing people, the first products and
getting a review out of it so that people can be assured that the product is good.

Showing the difference of what the plastic waste was before and what that is now. To bring
awareness, as Bangladesh is currently producing over 150 tons of plastic every year. These
plastics are being thrown away to the as waste. As plastic is not bio degradable it will stay in
our planet for days to come. These will eventually end up in swears and rivers and polluting
other parts of the world. We can create awareness of how this is affecting us and the world
we live in.

Providing a money back grantee if the product was not of good quality. Money back
guarantee will provide a huge boost as people will think that the product in hand would be of
good quality. As people would not give a money back guarantee for bad product.

Advertising about the benefits of recycling plastic waste and how good it is for the
environment. Using statistics and data of how much waste is produced through plastics and
how much impact it has on the world.

Achieving Customer Delight

Interaction between the customer and their experience of the service should be better than
what they get from other brands.

We are creating a service were the company would be able to create a product that product
should be as what the customer wants it to be so that the customer is delighted with the
product in hand.

There will be great experience of recycling or more like destroying and creating new useful
things, this experience for the customer have to be at the top level.

Consistency is key as customer wants everything to be perfect. Producing products of the


same level with all the same design with no fault in the product this will make a happy
customer.

Always try to make the customer satisfied with the product. Even if dissatisfied fix the
problem and make them satisfied.

Knowing what the customer want is key, so listening to what the customer wants. This can be
done by introducing a survey, or by picking the problem of the services from the customer
and picking the important once and fixing the problem as soon as possible.

Getting to know about the service we provide. Helping customer know better about of our
services will increase the value of the service in the mind of the customers.

We will have a quick response team whom will deal with the problems of the customers as
fast as possible.

Reducing Customer Complaint barrier

As we are going to provide product their might be problems regarding the build. These
important feedbacks from the customer will be taken very seriously, to improve the product
as well as providing a fast responsive for the feedback. As the defected product get notified
they will have a reward of getting a new set of the product with free delivery and the product
will be prioritizing in order to get it faster.

Listening to the customer will reduce the customer complain in the longer period of time. As
more of the complaint will be listed to more things will be done correctly the next time.

Using websites to provide 24/7 helpline services using bots which will provide basic
complain answers to the customers. The website will also provide other numbers and email to

provide to access helplines in other ways. Also using social media to communicate with the
customers, there will be plenty of ways to communicate with the brand.

Providing customers with a positive environment while in complain. Teaching our employees
to work with a positive mindset and provide a hassle free customer experience.
