Course Type CPL - Full time Program: Ground Studies + Flying Training
(Single Engine + Simulator) + DGCA Examination

Modules The course comprises of 4 semesters of 3 months each in which following milestones
are achieved
Module 1 - SPL (Basic Aircraft Knowledge + approx 15 Hrs of flying)
Module 2 – PPL( Optional) (Completion of 50 hours or more & issue
of PPL subject to DGCA Exam Clearance)
Module 3–Cross Country &Solo Flying (Completion of 100 Hrs & above)
Module 4 - CPL (Completion of 200 hours, including simulators & subject to DGCA Exam
Clearance)

Flight Simulator - 20 Hrs on Flight Simulator with 180 degree field of view and real time display
of terrain and various airports.
Ground Studies - 350 Hours
1) Flying Training
200 hrs on Single Engine Cessna- 152 /172 R aircraft.
20 hrs on Flight Simulator with 180 degrees field of view and real time display of terrain and
airports.
2) Ground Training
Ground Training consists of 350 hours which includes the subjects below:-
- Air Regulations
Curriculum - Principles of Flight
Overview - Aero Engines
- Aircraft Systems
- Flight Simulators
- Navigation
- Meteorology
- Radio and Navigation aids
- Human Performance and Limitations
- Theory and Practical of Radio Telephony
Examinations
and Tests
Flying Tests would be conducted in accordance with DGCA rules and regulations
by the CFI or a DGCA authorized examiner
Ground subjects written tests would be conducted by DGCA according to published
Schedule of DGCA.
Test for Radio Telephony Restricted License would be conducted by Department of
Telecommunications according to the published schedule.
