ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

I. INTRODUCTION

Since the calendar of activities for S.Y. 2020-2021 based on Deped Order No. 30 s, 2020 has been
amended thru DepEd Order No. 12 s. 2021, the beginning for the third quarter of this school year is moved to
March 22, 2021. The said DepEd order also includes that a, the professional development for teachers through an
In-Service Training (INSET)should be organized from March 15- 19, 2021. As a compliance, the third week of
March was very fruitful, as SNHS held a school-base.

As a compliance, the third week of March was very fruitful, as SNHS held a school-based INSET right after
the scheduled Sampaloc District INSET last March 15-16, 2021. The resources speakers in the school-based INSET
were Amelito R. Ojascastro, Master Teacher I, Jestoni E. Manipol, SHS Coordinator and Shirly P. Calubayan,
Guidance Counselor. Updates on Learners’ Information System (LIS), The DepEd Service Marks and Visual Manual,
2N AIP Data Gathering were the topics discussed, respectively. To maximize the time, teachers were also given
with updates about the school programs and projects included in the Annual Implementation Plan (AIP) for 2021
by Korinna S. Artuz, the team leader of SNHS AIP. Some teachers were also scheduled for their LAC- Classroom
Observation. The school head, Ms Violeta T, Catapia of SNHS also recognized everyone’s effort exerted during this
new normal in education. Although that the current situation may lead various challenges, she gave her words of
encouragement and motivation for teachers. She also reiterated to be prepared for the forthcoming activities
such as 2N-AIP Monitoring and Early Registration before the month ends

II. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS

. Sampaloc National High School held a school-based In-Service Training with the theme “Empowering
Teachers to Address Learning Gaps in the New Normal” from March 17 – 19, 2021. The said training was attended
by twenty-one teachers both from Junior High School and Senior High School which was filled activities and topics
that both refresh and update teachers on the practices relevant in the new normal.  In the three-day training,
some of the highlights were as follows: March 17, 2021. During the first day of INSET, Jestoni E. Manipol, SHS
Coordinator and School ICT Coordinator, oriented the teachers in the use and content of Learner Information
System (LIS). He also gave reminders to visit the system, to determine if there are actions needed to address,
since that the COVID-19 pandemic greatly affects the transferring in or out of learners. He also emphasized that
through LIS, learner’s data correction including LRN approval, enrolment with dispute and change request can be
processed immediately. Before his discussion ended, he allowed the teachers to explore the LIS portal and to be
familiar with its features. Furthermore, he encouraged the teachers not to be hesitated if there are questions
regarding with the update of SNHS enrolment. For the next topic Amelito R. Ojascastro, SHS Master Teacher I,

reiterated that the communication and documents that are and circulating in a particular institution like school
should be uniformed and organized which relates to contents of DO 31 s. 2019 - The DepEd Service Marks and
Visual Manual. Based on the said DepEd Order, templates of documents, logo, font and style should be standard
for strategic purposes. Given with the specific format, he allowed the teachers in a hands-out activity set up to be
more familiar with the memo. On the latter part, each group presented their outputs and reflected on the
objectives of the session. March 18, 2021, second day of the INSET, the first session was facilitated by Shirly
P.Calubayan, one of the SBM Team Leaders and the Guidance Counselor of SNHS, highlighted the importance of
teachers’ participation in the current implementation of Republic of the Philippines Department of Education
REGION IV-A SCHOOLS DIVISION OF QUEZON PROVINCE Project 2N-AIP or New Normal – Appropriate
Instructional Practices. As she added, through this project, teachers can reflect the current practices and
determine the strategies that should be enhanced or modified in order to attend the needs of learners in the new
normal. On the latter part, the speaker, together with the school head, Ms Violeta T, Catapia, gave reminders on
the documents or Means of Verifications needed to submit for the school evaluation and monitoring of such
practice/project. Aside from these topics, Korinna S. Artuz, also presented the matrix of the Annual
Implementation Plan for 2021. She added that most of the projects/programs were aligned in this plan according
to the school/learners in the new normal. Moreover, the school head also invited a guest speaker, Mr. Abraham
Abion, an advocate of Health at Home who highlighted the importance of taking care of health especially in the
situation of COVID-19 health crisis. At the third day, March 19, 2021, some teachers presented teaching
demonstration thru LAC type- Classroom Observation as a preparation for the compliance in PPST-RPMS. The
school head as an observer, gave her remarks and evaluated the teacher’s.

III. OVERALL ACCOMPLISHMENT OF PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

The day INSET became fruitful to all , Activities were inclined with the objectives and needs of teachers
in the new normal situation. Participated by 21 personnel, 16 female and 5 male. Nobody was absent except
those who were on maternity leave of absence. 2N AIP, DepEd Order No. 31, 2021 known as the Department of
Education service marks and Visual Identity Manual .and LIS Updates . Everyone became enlightened and
participated in the group activity.

IV. EDUCATIONAL OUTCOMES/RESULTS

Teachers wrote reflection in every topic presented. They could raise questions on the topic that needs
clarifications. Everyone was participative and willing to adapt the changes for the betterment of the teachers and
students.

Training indeed was a success one. Teachers are trained on the importance use of LIS not only the newly
hired teachers but also the school head. MOVs for the project 2N AIP became clear to everyone and most of all the
new different templates for any reports of school became clear to everyone also.

VI. FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE

Based on the approved Training design all budgetary requirements were according to the rules and
regulations of the MOOE Liquidation. The total cost for the foods for the five day training was --------

VII. PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS

The programs and projects are relevant and anchored to the Annual Implementation Plan for CY 2021 and
to the Flagship of DepEd Quezon Division. The LIS Updates which important in profiling learners and the learners
at risk of dropping out, the data gathering for 2N AIP and the templates used in communications plus updates on
how to prevents Covid 19 and to take care of ourselves.

VIII. STRATEGIC DIRECTIONS AND PRIORITIES FOR CY 2022

Comments and suggestions are noted and considered for future planning and implementation for the
upcoming INSET.
