1.1 Disassembly Guide
1.1.1 Wearing an ESD Wrist Strap

1.1.2 Product Diagram


Read the MediaPad Baggio disassembly guide carefully and perform the disassembly according to the
disassembly guide.

1.1.3 Removing the Front and Rear Covers

1.1.3.1 Precautions
Do not scratch the product when removing the front and rear covers.

1.1.3.2 Disassembly Tools


Disassembly tools include the disassembly stick, disassembly tab, electric screwdriver, and screwdriver bit.

Insert the disassembly tab into the PCBA. Unfasten the PCBA buckles.
Disassemble the PCBA here.
Insert the disassembly tab here.
Disassemble the camera from here.
Disassembly the light sensor here.
Attach temperature tape to protect the front camera.
2. Use the disassembly tab to pry up and separate the short edge.
3. Use the disassembly tab to pry up and separate the long edge.
1. Use the disassembly tab to separate the side button long edge from the microSD card holder.
5. Use the disassembly tab to separate the long edge from the microSD card holder to the side button (do
not separate the side button)
4. Use the disassembly tab to pry up and separate the headset short edge and one corner of the camera.
Use these tools to disassembly the front and rear cover assemblies

Disassemble the rear cover assembly.

1.1.3.3 Removing the Front and Rear Covers


1. Open the microSD card holder from the position indicated by the red circle in Figure 1-4 and remove
the screw (Phillips screw).

2. Remove the front and rear cover assemblies in the sequence shown in the following figures. Start from
the microSD card holder and remove all edges in the direction indicated by the red arrows.
Precautions:
(1) Unfasten the device buckles in sequence (do not use the disassembly tab to remove the buckles on
the side buttons) to separate the front and rear covers. The buckles on the side buttons will be
separated automatically.
(2) Do not forcibly unfasten buckles on the headset jack or USB port. Otherwise, the rear cover may
be deformed.
(3) Do not use the disassembly tab to pry up the Wi-Fi antenna as shown in Figure 1-6.

Two buckles near the Wi-Fi antennas are circled in red. Buckles in the Wi-Fi
area do not need to be unfastened.

3. Separate the front and rear cover assemblies from the long edge of the non-side button side.

4. Remove the battery BTB connector


Use the Phillips screwdriver bit to remove the battery presser screws, and then remove the battery
BTB connector from the PCBA.
Open the ZIF connector on the LCD and PCBA. Disassemble the LCD FPC and remove the front and
rear cover assemblies.
Use the high-temperature-resistant tape to protect the front camera lens from smudges.

a. Loosen the screws and remove the battery BTB connector.

b. Protect the camera lens on the front cover in a timely manner.

1.1.4 Removing the Rear Cover Assembly

1.1.4.1 Precautions
Do not scratch the product when removing the rear cover assembly.

1.1.4.2 Disassembly Tools


The required tools include the plastic tweezers, a disassembly tab, an SIM card, an electric screwdriver, and
a Phillips or torx screwdriver bits.
1.1.4.3 Rear Cover Disassembly Process
1. Unfasten seven Phillips screws from the rear cover assembly.

2. Open the ZIF connector and remove the front camera.

3. Remove the speaker box from the place as shown by the red circle in Figure 1-11.

4. Remove the PCBA
Remove the rear camera from the rear cover assembly.
Unfasten the buckle at the PCBA battery side using your hand. Remove the PCBA from the USB side.

Replace the B shell assembly with the battery and assemble them as follows.
