Trends, Networks and Critical Thinking in The 21 Century: FAD Trend

The document provides information to help differentiate trends from fads. It gives examples of fads like loom bands and fidget spinners that were very popular for a short time. Examples of trends included YouTube and smartphones that have had longer lasting influence. The document discusses how trends have a much longer lifespan than fads and can influence markets for years or decades. It also provides strategies for businesses to anticipate changes, distinguish short-lived fads from long-term trends, and create competitive advantages by being first to act on emerging trends.

- Trends have a much longer lifespan than Fads. In fact, they can continue to be fashionable for years
and even decades. The primary difference between a Trend and a Fad is that Trends have the potential to be
long-term influencers on the market.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
1. Do you think a research is complete without a review of relevant literature? Why?
- No, A formal writing review is a thorough examination of a topic based on evidence. A literature
review differs from an effective audit in that it discusses a specific health issue by incorporating the findings of
several clinical trials.
2. Why is there a need to evaluate a source of information before including it in your literature review?
- to make sure that they contain information which is valuable and pertinent. Web resources need more
careful thought to ensure their quality.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
1. Outdoor play provides us with a chance to explore, have adventures, and practice social and physical skills.
Nijaga parks and playgrounds are great places for families to play and learn.

WHAT I CAN DO
I find classmates who would be open to short video chats or messaging to study with after class or
before a big exam. Having someone to hold you accountable is a great motivator to keep you productive.
Having outside contact during this time of social isolation is also a way to make sure you’re staying mentally
healthy as well as checking in to make sure your friends and family are staying healthy. It’s not easy to be
stuck at home for this long, so I must remain in contact with the people I care about. Also, when my mental
health isn’t at its best, any motivation I once had to do something productive may diminish.

5. SAILING

WHAT IS IT
The Beach As the warm rush of salty water sweeps over my skin, I feel as though I am being pulled into
an endless journey. When I arrive at the beach and take my first footstep on the sand, I feel the loose grains
form around my feet and in between my toes. When I go to the beach, I feel excitement because I am thinking
of the fun that I will have. Standing on the beach where the water seems to meet the sand, what goes on
beneath is unknown to me. Similarly, I am living this life and experiencing a great deal of things, but this in no
way means that I have experienced all.

ACTIVITY 2
1. A classic picnic was always a great time. We shop together as a family beforehand to choose mess-free
fruits, vegetables, and other healthy snacks. We also make some easy sandwiches for the whole brigade. A
local park is great, but we prefer a patch of grass in our backyard for it will be charming as ever.

2. There's just something about the novelty of eating outside that'll get us excited about spending time as a
group.
