Discussion:
The Post Industrial Society is a society that marks that technology is their trademark. This is the
type of society people living in the 21 st century. This is when technology is dominant and people work
relentlessly hard to make the evolution of technology go even further in the future. The technology
reliant society has its own advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of this society are making
people lives make it easier, much more manageable, and enjoyable. The disadvantages of this society
are people becoming heavily dependent to technology, which decreases the people to retain their
knowledge and it has made some damage to our resources such as pollution to nature. Knowing that
this society can make the lives of people much easier, we must remember that is we should not heavily
rely on these things, as we have our own body to take care of, both physically and mentally.

Act 3: Essay Writing
Flag
According to Oxford Dictionary, a flag is a piece of cloth which can be attached to a pole and
which is used as a sign, signal, or symbol of something, especially of a particular country. This item
makes us remember that our country is independent, makes us unique, makes us remember on how our
national heroes sacrifice themselves for the country, and makes us united. The flag is irreplaceable and
has its own meanings that describe the people living in a country. It is important to take care of our flag,
because this is the jewel of the country. From the first election of the president until now, the flag is
always present to represent the unity of the country and for the people waving it; it shows love for the
country. Thus, it should never be damaged, as it looks bad for display and means chaos. For the present
and future countrymen, stand proud while raising our flag, as it symbolizes that you have the ideologies
of being proud of your fellow countrymen and determined to represent our country in international
affairs.
Act 4: Reflection
I have learned that cultural heritage is unique to every country; has their own way of believing, living,
and defining what is the best way of living life.
I have realized that symbolism has a deeper meaning and should be preserved at all times, both tangible
and non-tangible.
I will apply my knowledge when I am about to interact with foreigners, talk about their cultures and
respecting them.
