Key Responsibilities Handled
 Set up IQC and drives the team to perform incoming quality activities. Defined AQL and
Inspection Standard (as per IS 2859). Created QIP (Quality Inspection Plan), VQD
(Visual Quality Document) and Vendor Manual.
 Initiated RMA/RTV process and implemented Quality Module in SAP for accounting
rejections and control inventory.
 Co-ordinates with supply chain team, performs On-Site Assessment (OSA) and qualifies
the vendor as a new source.
 Co-ordinates with vendor to prepare PPAP for new developments. Qualifies the parts by
conducting part validation build and prepares report. Sign off master samples and

 Defines line material rejection & incoming material rejection ppm to key vendors.
Highlights issue to vendor on time and follow up for 8D / CAPA. Once received, will
review and feedback to vendor. Monitor the improvement effectiveness.
 Conducts periodic audits for sustainability on quality parameters and verifies the
implemented actions.
 Co-ordinates with supply chain team to do tool verification activity and maintains a data
base about the mold of plastic vendors. Identifies running tools and obsolete tools. Spots
out the worn out tools and tools to be refurbished, inform management for further action
to plan in advance in order to avoid part shortage.
 Does drawing register activity, periodic verification done to ensure that vendor is following
the latest version of drawing and vendor has the latest version of drawing in his
database.
 Initiated BIQ (Built In Quality) technique to ensure that the manufactured product is as
per customer requirements and quality standards.
 Does PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) as per site defined standard for critical parts at
vendor end.
Additional Tasks
 Leading RoHS conversion project – ensures all supplies are against RoHS compliance
with respect to RoHS directive 2011/65/EU.
 Performs internal audit to ensure the process is been followed as per defined work
instructions and procedure, evaluates the parameters and conducts FIFO audit on
quarterly basis.
 Does warranty analysis and report to global team for actual claim for the site.
 Conducts ECN management meeting and plan of builds which would be send to HQ
along with back up documents for design owner’s approval.
 Prepares competency matrix for cross function team members and schedule training on
required areas to build an effectively skilled team.
Highlights – Awards & Recognition
 Received E-star award in 2016 from management for taking efforts in correcting the tool
(Plastic Injection Molding) at vendor end for customer immediate requirement which
resulted in on time order delivery.
 Received E-star award in 2016 from management on successful completion of ISO
9001:2008 audit with Zero Non-Conformities.
 Received E-star award in 2015 from management on successful elimination of process
which resulted in cost saving of 10K USD per annum and improved productivity.
 Received E-star award in 2014 from management for taking efforts in completing the tool
refurbishment (Plastic Injection Molding) in short period at vendor end which resulted in
prior delivery of parts to the customer.
 Received E-star award in 2014 from management for implementing Quality Module in
SAP which resulted in systematic flow in material control & clearance, rejection booking,
stock management, scrap control.
 Received Employee Recognition Award in 2013 for Multiple Kaizen Implementations.
 Reduced over all scrap from 0.2 % to 0.1 % which is one of site metric.
