I am working on:
Lesson Focus
- By the end of this lesson students will be able to identify three shapes (circle, square, triangle,
rectangle)
Lesson Outcomes
Students will be able to be able to identify variety of shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle) and draw them
on their own.

In this wall, students have given their feedback to the lesson and wrote and drew what they understood.

This is a sample of a students’ work. She drew a square using the salt painting art technique. The teacher
must say the instructions which are:
1. First, draw any shape you want.
2. Add white glue to outline your drawing.
3. Then add a good amount of salt onto the glue before it dries out. Make sure that the
salt covers the whole drawing.
4. Carefully shake off the excess salt.

Rational:
On Monday, December 21, 2020, a math lesson about shapes will be conducted to
students that are leveled in KG 2, aged from five to six years old. I created a lesson
plan with details so that another teacher could use the plan and know exactly what
to do. The learning outcomes of the lesson will be achieved successfully by
making sure that students are able to identify variety of shapes (circle, square,
triangle, rectangle) and draw them on their own. This lesson has been implemented
previously in a KG 2 class.
The introduction has made the students prepared for the lesson. Students enjoyed
the activity during session. They have used hands-on activity besides developing
eye-hand coordination and increase their fine motor skills. The activity has been
chosen because its beneficial and it taught them how to draw the shapes in a fun
way. The instructions given are very clear and proper for their age. In addition,
during the activity time, all students answered both the closed and open-ended
questions such as “what shape are you drawing? How many sides does this shape
have? Can you show me how to draw a circle in the air?”. Furthermore, I have
given the students a short quiz at the end of the lesson to see if the students
understand the lesson or not. All students have learned a new math concept
(shapes) by the end of the lesson.
This lesson plan allows you to do well in implementing the 21-century skills,
whereas technology is conducted at the end of the lesson. Furthermore,
collaboration will be conducted while students are participating and answering the
questions during the online class
Course skill and learning outcomes include critiquing psychological theories in
teaching and learning and applying theories in education. Piaget’s theories are
persisting, enlightening many learners about the origins of intelligence and
cognitive development (Piaget, 1952, 1964; Flavell, 1963; Nuremberg, 2001), and
providing tremendous value in application in many disciplines, including education
(Kamii & Devries, 1980; Blake & Pope, 2008; Simatwa, 2010)..
