• Responsible for the daily health maintenance of the fifty-six end-stage renal disease patient undergoing
treatments in the clinical facility.
• Participated with the training of staff.
• Troubleshot problems with patients or staff, analyzing needs and generating referrals to appropriate
resources.
• Patient advocate between the fifty-six patients and the numerous nephrologists responsible for their care.

As a Staff Nurse:
• Performed assessments; provided intravenous therapy, enteral and parenteral nutrition, and minimal
wound care; provided some tracheal suctioning.
• Educated patients on procedures, healthy lifestyle, and preventative measures for maintaining best outcomes.
• Collaborated daily with physicians and health care team to achieve optimum patient care.
• Daily pain management for terminally ill clients.

As a RN Case Manager:
• Performed assessments; needs, environmental implications, informal support evaluation, feasibility for
person to remain at home safely.
• Researched/developed resources.
• Educated patients on resources, made appropriate referrals

Notable Accomplishments:
• Learned operation as a charge nurse in a rapidly growing dialysis clinic, with multiple nephrologists within
one month of employment with the company. (Normal learning curve for a minimally trained dialysis nurse is
six months to be able to operate without another licensed nurse present in the clinic.)
