    The Great pyramid of Giza

    The great pyramid is in Egypt. It’s estimated 2.3


    Million stone blocks each weigh an average of 2.5 to 15
    tons. Sometimes it is also called Khufu’s Pyramid or
    pyramid of Cheops. It is the only remaining wonders of the
    ancient world that still stands today. It is roughly made
    from 2490 to 2550 B.C. The pyramid is made by Pharaohs
    Khufu. It took 20 years to build the great pyramid of Giza.
    Inside this pyramid. There were 2 main burial
    chambers. The Queen was apparently buried in the same
    place as the king. The unfinished chamber was supposedly
    the original spot for the chamber but the pharaoh changed
    his mind and wanted it to be placed higher. The great
    pyramids of Giza are located in modern day Egypt. Today
    the Pyramids of Giza is a big tourist attraction. Believed to
    have been pieced together with large stone blocks on a
    quarry and dragging them into place. A gold cap was
    supposedly on the top of the pyramid before it was pillaged
    by attackers. Tutankhamen’s tomb is also buried in this.
