MOVING UP CEREMONY
(Nursery, Kinder 1, Kinder 2, Grade 10)
ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Holy Cross High School Moving Up Ceremony for the
academic year 2020-2021!

In a short while we will witness an important event in the life of our pupils. To begin with, may I
invite everyone to pause for a while for the invocation followed by the Philippine National
Anthem.

II. PAMBANSANG AWIT

Holy Cross High School is dedicated in providing excellent education to our learners despite the
challenges. For in Holy Cross High School, NO CHILD IS LEFT BEHIND!

Students, Parents, alumni, and guests, let us welcome the dynamic administration and teachers
of Holy Cross High School.

III. INTRODUCTION OF THE ADMINISTRATION AND TEACHERS

Moving up is a celebration of completion. It is an acknowledgement of the success pupils have


painstakingly strived to achieve and a culmination of a yearlong sacrifice to reach the end of
the school year with a promising result. At this moment, let us welcome Rev. Fr. Garry Neil
Fuentebella, LRMS, School Director, for his words of welcome.

IV. OPENING REMARKS - Rev. Fr. Garry Neil Fuentebella

Thank you, Fr. Garry. At this point in time, let us welcome Mr. Alex o. Sy, Chairman of the Board
of Trustees and Dr. Gregorio Cyrus Elejorde – City Schools Division Superintendent for their
warm and inspiring messages to the completers.

At this point, let us welcome to the virtual floor Dr. Profetiza S. Lim, School Principal, to
present the completers of the Nursery, Kinder 1, and Kinder 2 for the S.y. 2020-2021. This will be
confirmed by (Dr. Ramir B. Uytico) Dr. Gregorio Cyrus Elejorde through his representative Dr.
Juditha Mapue, Chief Curriculum Implementation Division of the Division of Dumaguete City.

VI. PRESENTATION OF GRADUATES

Ladies and gentlemen. Today, the completers will formally receive the fruits of their labor as
they stride to puddle the challenges of their academic life. This day is important to them and
without further ado, let us welcome the Nursery, Kinder 1, and Kinder 2 completers of s.y. 2020-
2021 with their proud parents and guardians.

VII. GRADUATION RITES

Congratulations, completers. Let us listen to the Graduation songs of the completers in Chinese
and English.

VIII. CLASS GRADUATION SONG

This school year is a unique and challenging one. Pupils learn their lessons through online
platforms and modules. Distance learning gave them the experience to study at home away
from school and classmates. However, this situation did not hinder fun and learning instead
they have collected more memories. Let us all watch, the children’s throwback photographs
and memories.

IX. CHILDREN’S PHOTOS AND MEMORIES

Let us listen to the Tribute song of the completers to be followed by the School Hymn.
