students can achieve improved understanding of the contents of the webinar. This helps students
broaden their skills, as well as their understanding of their field of interest. This also allows fresh
graduates to attain new knowledge and skills that can supplement or complement their main field
of study. With this webinar, you may come up with a new way to handle things or a new idea
that you never considered before. A webinar to help you develop new skills that can help you get
ahead. You’ll find that this aren’t just important to your graduate experience it can make a
positive impact on your career. You should take full advantage of the opportunity to learn about

this pandemic, it was hard to get a job for we have to attend to the strict protocols given by the
government, this is a must-to-do as a precaution. As we face the new normal, webinars should be
consider our best friend for it will impart us valuable knowledge that we can use later on as we
continue our living in the midst of pandemic. This activity will touch many lives not only for the
participants but also for the student organizers itself. This will served us our stepping-stone as we
continue to walk on the path heading to the success that we are dreaming of.

Problem Statement
One of the most precious moments of our life is to finish our studies and get our chosen
degree. At this time the first thing that comes in the minds of graduating students is to find a
suitable job for them in which they can use to enhance the knowledge that they have learned in
their college life. Aside from that, we are studying not only to impart knowledge in ourselves but
also to make money for the living and have a better life in the future. This is not easy for our
graduating students to find a job especially if they are just a newly graduate students and have no
experience yet. There are a lot of factors which we consider as a problem that affects our

It was March, 2020 when the government of the Philippines under President Rodrigo
Duterte imposed an enhance community quarantine (ECQ) in Luzon, which is effectively a total
mandated the temporary closure of non-essential shops and businesses including the temporary
“no-transportation policy.” We know that this pandemic has been difficult for everyone and we
have all adjusted to how we can continue our lives. As we faced this pandemic it caused

hold a Webinar on December 5,2020 Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. It will serve as our
final output for finals of this first semester. This Webinar aims to attract graduating students
from Perpetual. This is to provide information on how to get a job during this pandemic. We
know that this pandemic has been difficult for everyone and we have all adjusted to how we can
continue our lives. Therefore, by sharing the knowledge on how to get a job through online
platform can be done in this way we can help our graduating students from perpetual.

The webinar is about how to get a “Job Offer” during this pandemic. It aims to provide
knowledge on how to prepare for online interviews and how to create a resume. We will also
discuss the submission of resumes on the online platform where it will be important to provide
knowledge about the hiring process through online platform. This will also provide knowledge

google form. This is to ensure that we formally seek their consent in necessary situations.
The registration form will also serve as a guide for us to ensure that the number of
participants is monitored.
Those who submit registration through google form will receive an email from us

It is important for each event to have an activity which will leave a mark in the
minds of every participant as well as the people behind the event. A successful event should
consider the participants, on how they will make every participants stay and enjoy the entire
event. As well as rewarding the organizers ofcourse to appreciate their hardworks. For our
Webinar, we made sure that the Webinar will give not only valuable knowledge that they can use
in the future but it will also give an enjoyment and memorable experience as well as the people

We use a creative poster by using one of our colors in school which is yellow with touch
of black to make suited to our audience. We include the important details of our program which
are name of the speaker and also the time and date of the actual webinar held via Google meet.
The poster stated the location of the schools and website to make sure if they have any question
regards to the activity and also the registration of the actual webinar. Moreover, on the poster we
add some inspiration quotes to make our audience feel inspired and get excited of the new
chapter on their life.

STEP1: Registration
Participants should first fill up the registration form to gather their basic personal
information and to ask their consent that we will be using to take recordings while we conduct
the webinar. The registration form will only take 1 to 2 minutes to answer.
Once the participants are successfully filled up the registration form, they will received a
confirmation email from us providing the basic information about joining the Webinar including
the Date abd time of the Webinar, Google Meet link for the Webinar as well as the meeting code
and Email.

It was a warm Saturday afternoon on Dec.05, 2020 when the webinar entitled “You’re
Hired! Getting the Career of your Dreams in the midst of Pandemic” was conducted. This virtual
gathering takes a few weeks of preparation as final output of 3rd years Industrial Organizational
Psychology students. In preparation for the upcoming webinar, the class was assigned various
tasks to make the projects done easily, also to give everyone a record of participation. Our class
was assigned a various task and every participation is recorded. We helped each other to
complete the all task given to us. The students initiate to contribute to the activity as some of
them volunteer to these and those. We, from the class of I.O Psychology decided to select a guest
speaker outside so they can share expertise on the topic. Moreover, before the day of the webinar
came, the group takes time to rehearse and compliment and comment each other task to make the
activity a success.
We have received a total of 73 responses in registration for the Webinar prior and
during the the date of the webinar. We have decided to open the registration even during the
Webinar, because a lot of students still wanted to join the Webinar and they are trying to enter
the Google Meet even though they didn’t fill up a registration form. 8/73 registrants are from 4th
year college students, and 64/73 are from SHS grade 12. And 1/73 is a Psychology Professor.

During the virtual gathering or day itself of the webinar, we the facilitators came early as
it became a practice since rehearsal. The facilitators used to talk and have some laughter so we
can diverse such negative thoughts and nervous thoughts. The exact time of this webinar to start

As they were about to start the program, Ms. Escoto, Jed and Ms. Cuaresma, Julia

University and she focused her message on what could be the lesson of this pandemic and
introducing the theme of getting a job. Additionally, the guest speaker Ms Marie Joyce Tuyor
was introduced for sharing the topic but she encounter technicalities that is why we conduct a
short break or an icebreaker and it was a fun moment because the selected participant were
enjoyed the activity, an exact timing as well because right after the short icebreaker done, the
guest speaker finally joined the meeting. She was introduced again for the second time and she
The guest speaker is an active HR of MLM named Ms. Joyce Marie Tuyor, she is capable
to discuss regarding the topic as she is well experienced regarding on this topic. She gave the
process on recruitment additionally on the interview tips. She also gave an advice on how to
respond on the Interview question if ever we were applying on the near future. On the content
of the speaker’s presentation, the advice was interesting as she detailed the Do’s and Don’ts
during the interview and application which fuels the graduating students to use this as their guide
in finding a job. The most interesting part such the speaker shared is about
what to wear during interview in women the ideal attire is conservative 2-piece suit, knee length
skirt, dark shoes, and she also mentioned when will put jewelry it should be moderate, if you
wear earrings don’t wear watch or necklace and vice versa. In men the ideal attire for
interviewing is silk necktie with conservative pattern, shirt cuffs show only slightly at the wrist,
conservative 2-piece suit, dark shoes, socks and no earrings. The speaker discussed the

For the Quick Survey, since the Guidance Office was not yet sending us the Evaluation
link, we have to move the quick survey on Monday, December 7,2020 as Ma’am Rosalyn Dasco
advised. The Evaluation link will be send to the participant’s school gmail address and let them
answer it.
Before it goes to an end, Mr Lothar Chen Maceda extends his warm appreciation for his
students and all the audience attended to the virtual gathering to make the program a success. He

However, we, the organizers weren’t able to conduct a quick survey from the attendees
during the Webinar. We encounter predicaments and this is out of our control. Our Dean Bethel
Hernandez, required us to let the participants answer the survey form that was being provided by

the Guidance Office since we are not allowed to make our own survey form for evalution. The
Guidance Office wasn’t able to send us the link of the Evaluation form, and adviced us to
conduct a late survey on Monday. Certificates of Attendance are ready to send to the attendees
but in order for them to receive the certificate they have to answer the Evaluation form first. But
due to the negligence of the Guidance office in terms of being not able to provide an Evaluation
form, the sending of Certficate of Attendance was delayed. We have wait the link of the
Evaluation form to be send to us but it was already Monday and we still don’t received the link
for the Evaluation Form. This is not the negligence of the Organizers of the Webinar for we do
not have authority to access the evaluation form and it is out of our control.
The organizers of the Webinar have informed the participants about the delay sending of
Certificates to avoid the confusion, unwanted comments from the participants and to keep them
updated from what is happening since it is also their right to know of what happened to their
certificates. Below is the screen shot of our email for the participants:

All in all the activity was a success output for the third year Industrial Organizational
Psychology Students.
The overall event was successful and we really proud to say that we have accomplished
the given task for us only in a hrot period of time. Everything goes smooth, our host was able to
manage the technicalities experienced by our Speaker as she conduct an ice breaker first and

the way for us the organizers to value every second and improve our time management skills. It
is also our training ground to deal and work under pressure to keep ourselves ready in the near
future when we already have a job. Additionally, it was being suggested to let the attendees of
the Webinar answer the Evaluation form so that they will receive their certificates on time. Even
though this is not our negligence and it is out of our control, we have to be flexible in knowing

Participants were not checking their school gmail accounts because they didn’t respond to any
emails from us. We created a calendar of event and only few of them were able to respond. In
order for the Organizers to keep the participants updated, we texted them individually providing
the informations that they need to enter the Webinar Google Meet. It is being suggested to do
some precautionary actions and/or plan B according to this matter, to avoid it in the future event.
Overall, the Webinar was successful despite the uncontrolled negligence and unexpected
technical issues. Organizers worked as a team and succeeded to get their objectives in a
professional way.
