INTRODUCTION
Clinical education program for law students have been available for many years in some law schools. The
objective of such programs is to provide an understanding of the human, social, and policy context of law
and legal practice.
Internship fulfills an important component of both academic and practical education in law. The
integration of professional experience into the learning process is highly effective in developing your
understanding of the law in actions, as you are able to observe and perceive the relevance and application
of theory to practice. Consequently, the program is not simply ‘work experience’ but a significant
educational experience. In a workspace setting you will be exposed to the reality of the practice of law in
all its dimensions – the integration of different areas of law, policy issues; the application and
development of skills to analysis and resolution of client concerns; ethical responses to situations which
arises unexpectedly and spontaneously; issues of professional responsibility including responsibility to
clients and case management; and the operation of the government and court system in the legal process.
Allow you to perceive ways in which the formal learning you acquire at University may be applied in
practice and thereof to enable:
The Legal Internship Program is not designed to teach students how to be good lawyers (or how to be
lawyers at all) it takes more than study at University to do that. The objectives are to
This month has gone by so quickly. The internship has been very productive and I have certainly
stayed busy. I started my internship from 12th January 2021 to 12th February 2021 in land law
department of Jaypee Cement Rewa. Land law is the form of law that deals with
the rights to use, alienate, or exclude others from land. In many jurisdictions, these kinds of property are
referred to as real estate or real property, as distinct from personal property. Land use agreements,
including renting, are an important intersection of property and contract law. Encumbrance on the land rights
of one, such as an easement, may constitute the land rights of another. Mineral rights and water rights are
closely linked and often interrelated concepts.
Land rights are such a basic form of law that they develop even where there is no state to enforce them; for
example, the claim clubs of the American West were institutions that arose organically to enforce the system
of rules appurtenant to mining.

I also spend some of my weeks in welfare department of the industry the work of welfare is To establish
effective communication between management and workers in order to resolve swiftly any and all differences
between employer and employee or within the employees to develop the relationship. Where I came across

MAIN TASK
13
At the outset , my day would start at 10:00 AM and would stretch to as long as 3:00 PM with
a 6-days working week. Though one month was not sufficient but it was enough to learn
about the basis. I have learned the basics of petition filing. I could get to know about district
Court and labor courts which are an emerging concept. I really tried hard to learn. It was
adventurous for me as everything was unpredictable. Every day I get to learn about new
cases. In the office I learned all the official work, filing Talwana, Vakalatnama etc. All these
documents are very important and an advocate must know how to fill them and use them,
Talwana is used for many things such as for issuing attach warrant, issuing notices etc. I also
learned that it is very important to be always reading cases and new enactments, keep
yourself always sound minded, and while dealing with a case read the facts of the case very
carefully and try to find all the loopholes and then use them in your favor, also while cross
questioning with the witness never allow him/her to be confident ask them twisted questions
so that they become nervous and are not able to answer properly. It was very knowledgeable
to work with the legal expert as my field mentor who can clarify my doubts and enlighten me
in many ways. Civil procedure code handles the civil cases. Its steps are provided below:
1. Any dispute between two or more parties.
2. Complaint case and suit proceedings.
3. Interim stays/injunctions.
4. Trial proceedings.
5. Order of the case/judgment. Introduction to writ proceedings, which mainly talks about the
rights of the citizens under its procedure.
If there is any violation of our writ then we can file writ petition U/Art.226 before the High
Court or U/Art.32 before the Supreme Court. There is Special leave petition (SLP) in the
Supreme Court which can be submitted or sent for Presidential review in the Indian judiciary;
this gives a right to the citizen to appeal the president for last judgment. We were assigned to
discuss and make literature review cum group discussion on; I. Indian constitution and ii.
Charter of the United Nations and Statute of the International Court of Justice
1. I was assigned to read minimum of three case files to learn how files are maintained and
how the records are maintained.
2. Reading any suggested law related materials for my own benefit.
3. Research on judgments that are related to facts of case.
4. Assigned to research on the judgment of famous case of Munawar Faruqui arrest in
brief.

declaration.
