 There are 8 parts of speech.

DEFINITION:
It is a word that refers to a person,
1. place, thing, event, substance or
quality.
examples:
NOUN  person - teacher
 Place - arena

 idea - comfort
 quality - generosity
 animal - dog
 There are 2 kinds of noun.
1. Common Noun (general)

examples : Man, Mountain, Day

2. Proper Noun (specific)

examples : George, Mount Fuji,

everywhere shows where it rained).

 “Don’t do that!” she shouted angrily. (the

adverb angrily tells how she shouted)

examples:
