a. the government agencies that will implement the law is the (PDEA) Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency, (PNP) Philippine National Police, ( NBI ) N ational Bureau of Investigation, ( DDB ) Dangerous
Drugs Board
b. the president of the Philippines is the one who will going to appoint for the position of chairman,
there will be 17 members of the board and it will be divided into 3 groups the 3 will be the permanent
members, the other 12 will be the ex officio of the board or the sanctioned will be distributed into
different departments according to their expertise and the remaining 2 members will be the President of
the integrated bar of the Philippines and chairman or president of the non-government organization

Clandestine Laboratory. – Any facility used for the illegal manufacture of any dangerous drug
and/or controlled precursor and essential chemical.
Dispense. – selling or distributing medicine or any dangerous drug with or without the use of
prescription.
Drug Syndicate. – Any organized group of two (2) or more persons forming or joining
together with the intention of committing any offense prescribed under this Act.
Cannabis or commonly known as "Marijuana"
Opium. – Refers to the coagulated juice of the opium poppy
PDEA. – Refers to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency
screening Test. – A rapid test performed to establish potential/presumptive positive result.
d. this law is made by the senate and the house for the people to be knowledgeable about the use of
dangerous drugs. This law also gives information all about dangerous drugs, who made the law, who are
the authorized person to dispense, also the rules and regulations and even the penalties that a violator
will going to face, the authorized patient to receive the dangerous drugs, who are the company or
people that are authorized to sell or dispense, and all the things that you need to know about dangerous
drug you can find it in this law.
e. violations
for the violators of this law they will be facing this following penalties:
penalty of 500,000 pesos to 10 million pesos and imprisonment for life to death.
Penalty of 100,000 pesos to 500,000 pesos and imprisonment of 12 years and 1 day to 20 years.
For importing any controlled precursor and essential chemical. And for the person who acts
proctector.
Sale, trading , delivery, penalty for life imprisonment to death with a fine of 500,000 pesos to 10
milllion pesos.
12 years and 1 day to 20 years with 100,000 pesos to 500,000 for broker.
500 thousand to 10 million pesos and imprisonment till death for the person who maintaince
the den. 1 million to 15 million for the owner. Employees will penalize 12 years and 1 day to 20
years and 100 thousand to 500 thousand to the employees.
And for the minors of person below 18 years old he/she will not be imprison but will be under
the custody of the DSWD until he reach the legal age for her/him to be in jail or depends on the
criminal act.
