A conjunction is a word that connects words
or group of words.
Kinds of Conjunctions
1.
Coordinating Conjunctions (for, and, nor, but,
or, yet, and so)
You can remember them by using the
mnemonic device FANBOYS.
It allows you to join words, phrases and clauses
that are of equal
importance.
for - because or since
but - shows contrast
so - shows
and - in addition to

yet - but
