    Position: SAP Architect

    Responsibilities

    Experienced enterprise SAP Architect position, responsible for analyzing and translating market insights,
    business information and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint that outlines solutions to
    achieve market demand on SAP. The enterprise Architect works with cloud Migration and modernization
    offering team to drive SAP ecosystem initiatives and provides leadership on SAP technologies, accountable for
    driving SAP architecture portfolio to achieve results on Cloud adoption.

    Role and Responsibilities

    o Interprets client needs and use case scenarios, translates needs into differentiating and innovative SAP
    offering architecture, and provides a long-term roadmap. Discusses requirements with Offering
    development, sales teams and updates requirements to reflect feedback. Ensures SAP offering
    architecture and design is optimized for digital discovery, consumption, and extensibility. Sets
    direction for SAP architecture roadmap, sales, and marketing to support go-to-market strategies.
    o Provides architectural leadership to SAP Solution Architects to deliver thoughtful IT solutions to the
    business. Collaborates with enterprise architecture, information security, application & infrastructure
    teams to produce an optimal, high level, conceptual, and cost-effective designs. Works closely with
    stakeholders from various lines of offering to develop architecture blueprints and realistic design.
    o Analyzes the current SAP architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for
    improvement such as enhancing business processes, expanding capacity, reducing time & cost by
    introducing automation, and increasing overall effectiveness. Acts as an arbitrator, as needed, to bring
    the appropriate parties together to drive discussions to decisions in a timely manner.
    o Documents the SAP enterprise architecture design and analysis work. Owns and documents the
    overall SAP application architecture based on industry standard architectural frameworks. Develops a
    capability road map of the enterprise portfolio from current to future state.
    o Analyzes technology industry, market trends and impact of SaaS/Cloud and determines the potential
    impact on the enterprise. Maintains relationship with SAP ecosystem vendors and maintains tools
    roadmaps. Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards.
    o Owns architecture strategy for SAP migration and modernization offering portfolio within a market
    segment. Participate in IBM technical architecture review meetings to approve SAP architecture
    designs, tools, and technology. Provide directions to enterprise architects for adopting latest
    technology in line with market demand.

    Required Expertise

    o Professional mastery and knowledge related to translating customer needs and buying preferences,
    market trends and technology capabilities and competitive insights into segment strategy and offering
    design requirements and executing on that vision throughout the offering life cycle.
    o Strong experience in architecting SAP solutions: SAP, SAP ERP/ECC, SAP BO/BW, SAP HANA,
    Business Objects, SAP NetWeaver with specific emphasis on PI, BI, Master Data Management and
    SAP Mobility.
    o Has been in an architecture leadership role in 10+ full lifecycle SAP implementations, migration and
    modernization to various cloud providers. including post implementation experience. Experienced in
    working in an environment with heavy mix of SaaS and on-prem applications.
    o At least 15+ years of experience in areas such as application design and development, application
    integration, middleware, database management and migration, information security, technical
    architecture, network management, mobility.
    o Demonstrates well rounded technology experience/exposure - Java, Microsoft, IBM, Open Source,
    CA, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.
    o Proven ability to develop detailed solution designs. Understands architecture constructs and patterns,
    protocols such as SOAP, REST etc., development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).

    Preferred Expertise

    o Self-starter who thrives in an ever-changing, fast-paced business environment.


    o Adaptability to the rapid change in technology
    o Collaboration across different cultures and different technical domains

    Educational Qualification: Graduation in Science or BTech
