Justification of Teaching Strategies:

I think that those three teaching strategies listed above are beneficial when teaching the lessons.
First is lecturing, I think this is beneficial since the teacher will be able to introduce the students this new
topic and stimulates the student’s interest to the topic which is essential to student learning. Secondly is
the use of audio visuals, I think this will be very informative to the learning of students since they will be
able to see videotapes of healthcare settings. This will help them visualize and prepare themselves for
their future jobs. Lastly, is Questioning, I think this will be very helpful in the end since the instructor or
teacher can assess the students on what they learn. In addition to that in questioning students can
discussed their ideas and beliefs that all the people in the classroom can learn.

Reason:

I chose this topic because I think this lesson is very beneficial to us students who are studying
Medical Laboratory Science since we can learn from this lesson what a healthcare setting looks-like and
how we should act, what are jobs are and what are the responsibilities we would hold in the future when
we are one of the medical health workers. This lessons would prepare us students on the real world of
Medical Health workers, this will teach us on how and what do they do and how they interact with patients
and co-workers.

5. Learn how to extend, accept invitations and pay compliments to your friend.

Teaching Strategies:

 Lecturing
 Discussion
 Questioning

Justification of Teaching Strategies:

The instructor will together with the above mentioned teaching strategies I think it will be great as a
teaching method to incorporate various activities within one language exercise or activity. For example, a
role-play activity may be expanded to include a feedback or discussion forum where students give
personal opinions and ideas. Depending on class size and level of proficiency, the instructor can
rearrange and adapt a particular activity as follows: Lecturing, wherein the instructor will give language
tips, and vocabulary in context. Next is discussion wherein the class will brainstorm and Lastly,
Questioning such as giving situations and scenarios.

Reason:

Studying another language gives us the opportunity to fully immerse ourselves in another culture.
We will be able to learn not just the words, numbers and grammars but also how other country works and
what makes them different from our country. In addition to that learning new language can be enjoyable
and beneficial especially if you will be going to that country.
