The poet has heightened the impact of poem by using figurative
language. They decorate their writing by using figures of speech to
make the reader enjoy. Poets always enhance the beauty of their
poetry by using simile, metaphor, personification and imagery like
“stretch in never ending line” and “ten thousand I saw in a
glance” etc.

These lines have been taken from the beautiful poem
“Daffodils” written by “William Wordsworth.”
In this stanza the poet saw numerous daffodils. They were
growing in a never ending line. so, he compares them to the
Milky Way. The heads of daffodils were moving as if they were
dancing in happy mood. In this stanza, the poet uses a scientific
term ‘Milky Way’ which shows that poet has broad scientific
knowledge. The poet uses personification and compares the
movement of daffodils to the movement of human heads.

This stanza is taken from the poem ‘Daffodils’ written by
‘‘William Wordsworth.’’In this stanza, the poet compares the
daffodils fluttering in the breeze to the dancing waves of lake.
He gazed as long as he could absorb their beauty .At that time he
did not realize what great “wealth” of happiness that scene was
bringing to him at the present as well as for future. In this
stanza, the poet is using very beautiful words for the
descrip5tion of nature.

The stanza has been taken from the poem Daffodils, written by

In this stanza, the poet is too much impressed with the beauty of
the flowers. When he is in a sad mood. The scene of dancing
daffodils flashes upon his inward eye. He is able to see the
daffodils in their sprightly dance in his imagination and once
again the poet experiences the same joy.
