• This document provides instructions for creating a batch application in an EcoStruxure


Plant architecture with a powerful combination of EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS and batch
management software. EcoStruxure Hybrid DCS is the engineering platform for both
control and supervision. Wonderware InBatch is a rich tool for batch management,
where all batches, recipes and schedules occur. Both systems work seamlessly in
integrated environment and exchanging information and commands.

• Demonstrates

• This TVDA uses a dairy process as example. It goes through the lifecycle of the
system starting from design to operation. The document goes through all the details
and explanations of how the batch system is designed and what each component
means. It demonstrates the link between the batch management system and the
process control. There are videos showing batch operations from the operation client
and usage example of runtime navigation services.

example systems were designed, one based on the Quantum PAC platform, the

• Various system designs, use of multiplexer and instrument DTMs, factors that
affect HART data update time, integration of Krohne HART instruments, and
implementation of the Krohne HART library within Unity Pro and Vijeo Citect.
