production-ready variable compression (272 ps, 268 hp) maximum power output and

The engine development involved the
INFINITI has tested more than 100 engine Renault Sport Formula 1 Team, calling
prototypes to perfect the technology, with on their deep material knowledge and
over three million kilometers of road testing expertise dealing with high RPM
and more than 30,000 hours on the test bed

The VC-Turbo engine is so smooth, it requires
INFINITI is targeting up to a 27% no balance shafts – conventional four-cylinder
improvement in fuel efficiency over engines require two. Removing them offsets the
similarly-powered V6 gasoline engines space occupied by the multi-link system
