    IMPORTANT RULES APPLICANT GOVERNING THE USE OF THE UNIVERSITY SWIMMING POOL.

    1. (a) Application forms for membership are available at the P.U. web site ( http://forms.puchd.ac.in ).
    (b) Only such persons, as declared medically fit by the University Medical Officer, shall be enrolled as members.
    (c) Children below the Age of 10 will not be allowed.
    (d) The swimming pool session generally starts from April to October 31st every year.

    Membership fees, as under shall be payable to the University Cashier/SBI counter under sub Head “Swimming Pool
    Account” (Amalgamated Fund).

    2. Registration fee (for all categories) Rs. 25/- Per Session


    Identity Card fee Rs. 25/- Per Session
    Code No. O0160
    3. Membership Fee

    a) P.U. Campus Students Rs. 50/- Per Month


    b) Faculty of University & affiliated colleges Rs. 150/- Per Month
    & their dependent Son / daughter. Non teaching
    employees and their dependent son /daughter. Code No.O0160
    c) Rtd employee of P.U. , Fellows & Ex- Fellows
    and members of Alumni Relation s Rs 150/- Per Month
    d) Outsiders (with permission Rs. 1000/- Per Month
    of the University Director of Phy. Edu.)
    e) Guests Rs. 150/- per hour per visit
    (not exceeding 7 days in a month)
    f) Members of Swimming Pool Committee Rs. 75/-
    Medical Fee
    a) Faculty/Students/ Employees/ their Rs. 30/-.
    Children/Rtd employees/Alumni
    Relation Code No. M0100
    b) All others Rs. 50/-

    4. All members are requested to take a shower bath before entering the pool.

    5. All ladies and gentlemen who have their long hair are required to wear the water-proof cap while in the pool.

    6. Proper swimming costumes should be used while swimming.

    7. Beginners or learners should on no account enter the large or competition pool or the diving pool. They should put on red caps for
    identification purposes.

    8. Members are requested to deposit their identity cards with the swimming pool attendant before entering the pool.

    9. Persons suffering from any skin infections or contagious diseases are not allowed to enter the pool.

    10. Refreshments should not be served or taken on or in the pool.

    11. The swimming pool staff accepts no responsibility for the safety of property of members, their dependents, or of their guests,
    clothing etc. may be left in the dressing rooms or lockers entirely at owner’s risk. Members are advised not to leave money or
    valuable in the dressing room of lockers.

    12. Full value will be charged for any damage, breakage or loss the pool property by the members, their guests or their dependents.

    13. Gentlemanly behavior is expected of all the members on and in the pool to ensure safety of all pool users. Mischievous behavior
    may entail suspension or even cancellation of membership.

    14. No member shall interfere with duties of any member of the swimming pool staff.

    15. Dogs are not allowed with in the premises of the pool.

    16. Members, their dependents, or guests swim at their own risk and responsibility.

    17. Any violation of the rule will result in cancellation of the Swimming Pool card.
