HOW TO RE-INSTALL THE MODIFIED SOFTWARE?

1. INTRODUCTION

User can personally re-install the software through the CD onboard by below procedures issued by
techmarine.

2. PREPARATION

Before conducting un-installation process, you should copy both ‘grade.tms’ and ‘gradeno.tms’ files
into the desktop in order to protect unexpected error. Note below procedures.

1. Enter ‘My Computer’, and then, double-click ‘C’ drive.

2. Double-click ‘SM’ folder, then, double-click ‘Initdata’ folder.

3. You can find both ‘grade.tms' and ‘gradeno.tms' files as below and copy them into the ‘Windows
Desktop’.

After the completion of the re-installation, you should


overwrite the copied ‘grade.tms’ and ‘gradeno.tms' files
into the ‘C\SM\Inidata’ folder path.

3. PROCEDURES FOR UN-INSTALLATION

In order to make a good re-installation, we recommend removing the currently installed


‘Shipmanager-88’ software first.
In this regard, after check the software is closed, please kindly take a step as below screenshots.

3.1. Press ‘Start’ Menu

3.2. Press ‘All Programs’ in Windows Start menu.

3.3. Select ‘Programs -> Shipmanager-88 -> Uninstall Shipmanager-88’

3.4. When below window appears, select ‘Yes’ button.

3.5. Press ‘OK’ button after the completion of the un-installation.

3.6. The un-installation process is completed.

4. PROCEDURES FOR INSTALLATION

If the un-installation process has been completed, please take an action for the re-installation as
below.

4.1. Please insert the final or modified CD into the CD-ROM, and execute ‘Install.exe’.

4.2. When below window appears, select ‘Next’ button.

4.3. Then, Press ‘Install’ button

4.4. The process of the Installation will start as below screen.


And the Installation will be finished when Progress bar reaches to 100%.

4.5. After the completion of the installation, press ‘OK’ button.

4.6. You can see ‘ShipManger-88’ icon newly created in the ‘Windows Desktop’.

4.7. Please paste both ‘grade.tms’ and ‘gradeno.tms’ files saved in advance into the ‘C\SM\Inidata’
folder path.
