Final year project - PROPOSAL FYRooms
1) INTRODUCTION
FYRooms is developed with the motive of solving problems faced by immigrants
moving from remote areas to the developed cities with the hope of improving their living
standard. FYRooms serves these users by providing them with room rental information
which includes price, location, room perimeter etc. There are many cases of immigrants
being the victim of room broker who are using peoples newness to the city, FYRooms
helps in preventing such people from being spammed by unreal brokers.
5) METHODOLOGY:
The model Spiral is a variation of a template with an iterative version of the waterfall.
Every spiral phase starts with a design goal and ends with a customer review (In this case
Supervisors). The Spiral-SDLC model development team begins with a small set of
requirements and passes through every stage of the development of these needs. The
Software Engineering group applies features in increasing spirals to the additional
requirement until the software is ready for production. (Guru 99, n.d.)
● Determine objectives
● Identify and resolve risk
● Development and testing
● Plan the next iteration

6) RESOURCE REQUIREMENTS:
All the basic requirements are shown below:
Software’s Purpose
8) MILESTONES:
A project achievement is a tool to track, monitor and evaluate the development of a plan
and/or its results. In general, milestones exist as intermediate phases to be completed

10) CONCLUSION:
This software is useful for the even ordinary people to search for the rooms without
visiting there physically which saves a lot of time. Both the users (Landlord and renter)
can access each other profiles to know about them. Even the renter and landlord can be
connected virtually which can save time and money. There is a special feature for all the
users to record their monthly budget, so that they don’t need to install any unauthorized
third-party software.
In a conclusive way, this application is helpful in real life for people to search for the
room according to their need and price and even to track their monthly expenses using
the budget manager feature. This application acts as the bridge for filling the Information
gap between renters and seekers.
