 Characteristics of the Deposit №1
- The area of deposit – 11.9 hectares;
- Special permission on geological exploration, research and industrial development of ores is valid until
2017 (there is possibility of extension);
- Chromite ores of the deposit that are easily processed do not exceed 40%;
- A full range of geological study has been conducted, as regards chromite ores. A report has been prepared
on geological survey;
- A technology has been developed and applied for gravitational processing of chromite ores.
This technology has no analogs in Ukraine and abroad.
- The technology has been protected by patent and it has been applied since 2003 in ferronickel plant;
- Chromite ores were discovered in 23 wells that makes 46.9% of the total amount of drilling activities;
- At the depth up to 110 m, in category C1 the reserves of chromite ores are 613,000 tons with Cr2O3 content
of 13.8%, and in category C2 the reserves of chromite ores are 37,000 tons with Cr2O3 content of 14.08%;
(according to protocol of State Commission of Ukraine on Mineral Reserves):
- The claim area for the development of the deposit is 8.5 hectares, and the area of the land allotment is
22.00 hectares;
- Forecasted resources with the depth up to 200 m and with average Cr2O3 content of 20.91% are
3,224,000 tons of chromite ore;
- Silicate-nickel ores are widespread in the amount of 210,000 tons with the average nickel content of 0.80%;

Characteristics of the Deposit №2

- Special permission on geological exploration, research and industrial development of chromite ores is
valid until 2020 (there is possibility of extension);
- Nickel ore reserves are 604,500 tons and chromite ore reserves are about 380,000 tons at an average
Cr2O3 content of about 22%);
- The average content of nickel in the ores is 0.91% and average content of cobalt is 0.045%;
- The content of chrome oxide - from 20% to 45%, averaging 22%.

Market Dynamics
Depending on the chrome content, the price of imported ores and concentrates are in the range from to
$260 to $410 per ton;

Ukraine is not exporting nickel ores. In 2015, the import of chrome ores and concentrates into Ukraine
was 10.5 times higher than their export;

Almost 100% of nickel ores are imported to Ukraine from Guatemala. In 2015, Ukraine imported more than
1,462,000 tons of nickel ore;

World leaders in export of nickel ore in 2014: Philippines (50% of total export), Australia (9.7%),
Indonesia (9%), South Africa (7.4%) and New Caledonia (5%);

Leading importers of nickel ore, 2014: China (72% of total import), Finland (8.6%), Japan (6.4%),
South Korea (2%), and Macedonia (1.7%);

South Africa (48% of world exports), Turkey (17%), Kazakhstan (10%), Albania (5.4%) and Iran (5.2%)
were the largest exporters of chrome ore in 2014;

China (66% of world imports), Russia (10%), India (2.3%), Germany (2%) and Sweden (2%) were the leaders
in imports of chrome ore in 2014.
