Abbreviations
K – Knit

Cable pattern:
Rows 1-6: P1, K6, P1, K6, P1
Row 7: P1, C6F, P1, C6B, P1.
The Cablejumper
The Cablejumper is worked in the round, from the neck downwards.
Yoke
You will now work in St st and Cable pattern, whilst increasing
for the sleeves.
Change to 3.5 mm (US6) needles and work as follows:
Inc row: K1, Inc, *K until m, Inc, sm, K1, Inc*, repeat between * * to the
end of the round, ensuring that you work the Cable pattern on the centre
15 sts. (8 sts increased)
Continue working in St st and Cable pattern, whilst increasing on
every second round, for a total of of 13 (15, 17, 18) times. You should
now have 176 (196, 216, 228) sts. Work 4 more rows without
increasing.
Sleeves
Using 3.5 mm (US4) needles, return the sleeves sts to the needles.
Then pick up the 4 sts under the sleeve (from the body). Pm in the
centre of the 4 sts. this is then the BOR. You should now have a total of
42 (46, 50, 52) sts for the sleeve.
Join for working in the round and continue to work, until the sleeve
measures 12.5 (14, 15.5, 17) cm from the underarm.
On the next row, Dec 10 (12, 14, 14) sts, evenly distributed
throughout the round. You should now have 32 (34, 36, 38) sts.
Change to 3 mm needles and work in Rib until it measures 2.5 (3,
3.5m 4) cm, then cast off.
Assembly
Sew the underarms, sew in any loose ends and then sew on the
buttons. Finally steam block the garment.
