ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT
To the Parents:
Because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, regular operation of schools including relevant
offices in the division, region and central levels is suspended; and its learners’ physical attendance in
school is prohibited or limited. However, learning should not stop even in crisis situation. In this regard,
our school has prepared sets of activities for our learners for their Immersion in line with the
Memorandum DM CI-2020-00085 entitled “The Guidelines on the Implementation of Work Immersion
during Crisis Situation”.
Below are the details of this year’s Work Immersion:
Timeline
Pre – Immersion - March 22 – April 30
Immersion - May 3 – May 28
Post Immersion - May 31 – June 25
Work Immersion Mode
Home-Based - most of the activities will be done at home; this include answering Work
Immersion Worksheets. There will be schedule of retrieval of worksheets and they will be
guided by their Immersion Teacher.
Community-Based – there will be some activities that needs to be done in your
community. This is to ensure that learners can still acquire competencies that cannot be
learned at home because of some limitations given by the current situation. Schedule will
be announced by the Immersion Teacher.

Work Immersion Overview
What is Work Immersion?
Work Immersion is one of the course requirements for graduation. A Senior High School student
has to undergo Work Immersion in an industry that directly relates to the student’s postsecondary goal.
Through Work Immersion, the students are exposed to and become familiar with work-related
environment related to their field of specialization to enhance their competence.
Goals of Work Immersion:
(i) gain relevant and practical industrial skills under the guidance of industry experts and
workers;
(ii) appreciate the importance and application of the principles and theories taught in school;
(iii) enhance their technical knowledge and skills;
(iv) enrich their skills in communications and human relations; and
(v) develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation, and respect for work
