Meet Ms. Hutchins

• I was born and raised in Kansas. Go Jayhawks :)

• This is my 10th year teaching third grade at Crozet. I have been in the
education field for 15 years total! I have taught 4th grade, 3 year old PK,
and high school. Third grade is definitely my favorite age by far!

• My daughter is in fourth grade this year and I continue to learn more

about school from the “other side.” I also enjoy time with my husband
and dogs, Bramble and Athena.

• While this year looks different than previous year, I am still excited and
looking forward to all the fun experiences we will have this year

• I recently received my Culturally Responsive Teaching Certification. One

thing I learned about myself through the process is that I value working
hard and trying your best and being efficient with my time!
Meet Ms. Crist

• I was born and raised in Waynesboro, Virginia. GO HOOS!!!

• I received my bachelors degree in K-5 General Education as well

as K-12 Special Education.

• This is my 6th year teaching third grade at Crozet Elementary

School.

• I enjoy all outdoor activities, spending time with my friends and

family, listening to music, going to concerts, and cheering on my
HOOS!!

• I also recently received my Culturally Responsive Teaching

Certification in 2020 alongside Mrs. Hutchins. I am looking forward
to using what I learned to impact my future students and their
families!
Meet Mr. Stauffer

• I was born and raised in Bradford, PA.

• This is my 17th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, 4th grade, 5th
grade, middle school math, and now 3rd grade. I am super excited to be
a part of this third grade team.

• I enjoy hanging out with my wife and three children. We are very busy
and love every moment of it. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, weightlifting,
and most outdoor activities.
