7 Steps of Moral Reasoning
The presentation I watched was about Dr. Step 7 Moral Reasoning Model. Rae
Scott. It addresses the use of reasoning and is impartial in making a moral decision
for the importance of always backup it for a reason. It needs to think twice and
create the right decision. You must go to the procedure of the seven steps to
proceed options and look at the possible consequences that will happen and
conduct a conclusion of it. There are possibilities that it can only create a
disturbance not only to yourself but also to people involved in that dilemma or
situation. In making ethical decisions in the use of reasoning and impartiality in
m
er as
moral matters, you need to gather the facts. The simplest way to clarify an ethical
co
problem is to make sure the facts are clear. Do not end without knowing the facts. It
eH w
also needs to gather as many artifacts as possible before proceeding. We should ask
not only "what do we know?" but also "what do we need to know?" because it needs

to know the details first before jumping to conclusions. Identify ethical issues or
ou urc
ethical interests in terms of legitimate competing interests or goods. Competing
interests are what creates the problem. Do not jump into solutions without first
knowing or recognizing the ethical issues in the situation. It also needs to define the
o
basis for the want to focus. It determines what virtues and principles are relevant to
aC s
the case. In an ethical dilemma, some values and principles are competing for the
vi y re
positions. It was also determined what are some should be given more weight than
others. IT listed the alternatives you need to determine the action of your problem.
It helps you come up with a deeper selection of ideas, compare alternation with
principles. Take the alternatives and do the positive and negative consequences of
ed d
each. This process is the most difficult part of the moral decision-making process.
ar stu
This requires fortitude, especially if the reason suggests one way and how we feel
the other way. Furthermore, I learned how to balance and think deeper about the
situation and choose the right solution for the goods of all.
