A. MOTIVATION
The teacher will ask his/her learners if they have experience going to a mall and ask them
if what they have notice regarding on the prices of the item in the mall.
B. PRESENTATION
Teacher will show a chart and let the pupils to identify and give their insight regarding with the
chart posted in the board.
C. ACTIVITY
D. ANALYSIS
The teacher will now properly introduce the definition of the subject matter which is
the decimal numbers and give some example of the said subject matter.
DECIMAL NUMBERS-it refers to the number whose whole number part and the
fractional part is separated by decimal point.
Then after, he/she will now proceed in discussing the decimal place value chart which
represents the value of each digit in a number.

At this point of time, the teacher will now proceed to reading and writing decimal and

F. APPLICATION
The teacher will give a short quiz to his/her students expressing decimal numbers as the
value of money in which the students will read each number and write it into decimal form.

In this point of time, the teacher will assign the class to answer a short quiz in which
they will write it into decimal form.
